NSWGR Steam in the 1950s. Part 1. Around Sydney.
Shot on 16mm Kodachrome, between 1950 and 1961, this rare film is part of a collection discovered in an abandoned garage following a house fire in Sydney's West. Green 38s, roundtop 36s, 57s etc etc. Mostly in colour. I now believe it may have been taken by the late Bob Wiley and, at least, one other cinematographer.

Steam Locomotives in Action - 2017 Review

Train Works .N.S.W.
Home to Australia's largest display of rolling stock and railway objects, artefacts and memorabilia, Trainworks tells the story or New South Wales' rail history.
The Trainworks site features five precincts: historic Station precinct, Exhibition Building, Workers' walk, Great Train Hall Roundhouse.
While we were in Mittagong, we went up to Thirlmere to see the Museum there.
The museum is brilliant, not only was there lots to see and interact with but they also put on a bit of a show as you will see in this video, well worth a visit if you can get up there, we spent 4 hours there and didn't see all of it, plus my battery ran out on my camera and I lost my spare so I could only get what you see here.
Hope you enjoyed this clip.
Thank you for Watching.
