SOT: Not much has changed on the ground. There is still continued arrests of political activists, civil society activists, journalists. There is still a ban on demonstrations and so on. Basically they are broken up if they are organised, so the situation has not changed much.
WESTERN GOVERNMENTS LED BY THE UNITED STATES AND BRITAIN ... ARE HOLDING BACK AID TO THE UNITY GOVERNMENT ... WAITING TO SEE IF THIS NATION'S CLAIM IT IS COMMITTED TO THE RULE OF LAW HOLDS TRUE ... SO AID REACHES THOSE WHO NEED IT.
