***** Pier one, Montego Bay Review *****

Pier one locate in Montego Bay, great spot to truly enjoy the ocean. You are directly on the ocean, the restaurant located on a pier. The environment was beautiful and relaxing. It does get loud and active at lunch time. If you want quite time while dining, I suggest that you go before lunch time.

Pier one food was ok, I did enjoy the soup they served as an appetizer but I didn't like my creamy soup I ordered after. The peppered shrimp was good, very spicy and not like the traditional Jamaican peppered shrimp but it was still good.


**** SHARKIES, RUNAWAY BAY Review ****
Sharkies Seafood Restaurant experience was good and bad. We went there when not much people was there, yet we sat for over an hour waiting on our food. Before we even sat, we had issues with them even acknowledging us. Their instagram could have fooled me, they made it seem like it was thee spot. Nevertheless, although the customer service wasn't the best, their food was worth it.

The steam fish at Sharkies restaurant was very good, and their lobster extremely tastie and delicious. I would go back but the long wait and poor customer service is a concern

***** SWEET SPOT RESTAURANT AND MINI MART Review ****
Sweet spot restaurant wasn't too impressive when they had us waiting for a good 15 minutes or so before they told me that they didn't have any eggs and i had to reorder my breakfast. I wasn't impress with my breakfast either, the porridge was good. I had the peanut punch porridge which was very good.

I went back to Sweet Spot restaurant few days after and I actually was impress by the kidney breakfast that I had. Sweet spot is not too bad after all, it's located near the seven mile beaches and was only about 5 minutes down the road from our hotel Negril Palms.

*** NEGRIL PALMS HOTEL Review ****

Negril Palms Hotel is a great hotel to stay at if you do not want to stay on a resort and you want to have an easier access to local things. I must advice that I did not enjoy the fact that folks were allowed to smoke on the beach and weed was being sold on the beach. I didn't enjoy the fact that the hotel allowed smoking on the balcony either. Other than that it's a pretty good hotel. Very clean and they take great care of their property.

Negril Palms Hotel location is also very good, you had easy access by car to the other side of the town where Ricks Cafe is and popular eat out spots are. I also loves that they were right next to a water spot company which made it very easy to book your water sport and you got a decent discount when you are a guest of Negril Palms.

Twin Palms is perhaps the most amazing feat of architecture and design achieved in the Caribbean in decades. It is a world-class villa, perfectly poised overlooking 60 miles of spectacular vistas and panoramic views of the clear blue Caribbean Sea. With its exquisite architectural design and artisan detail, this 12,000 square foot villa is truly enchanting.
Fit for a king and remarkable for entertaining, the villa is designed to accommodate families and friends in extraordinary comfort and exquisite style. Unparalleled architecture and design have created one of the finest private homes in the Caribbean and the world.
Immaculately tasteful interior design includes textures of suede, linen, lime-washed walls, mahogany, leather, marble and slate. Furnishings and light fixtures were imported from the States and Italy. Others were designed expressly for Twin Palms by Sue Williams and were custom built by Prince Palmer in Jamaica.
The axis of the house is a paved hallway, illuminated by candles each evening. This walkway leads to individual columned entrances to living suites and culminates in the Master Suite at the east end.
While all living spaces are designed on one level, a spiral staircase leads up 19 steps to a breathtaking skyloft on a breezy deck with a 270-degree ocean view.
During the design process, special attention was addressed to families and children. Connecting doors provide the option of combining three bedroom suites. Two more suites are connected by a walkway. A unique children's playroom provides foosball, books, television and two cushioned platforms for reading, playing games and taking air-conditioned naps. The homeowner requires employment of one nanny for every two children ages 7 and under ~ either a nanny brought from home or a nanny hired at Tryall.
Dining areas are designed to seat 20 guests or more. Formal dining is in the 80' dining room under Italian chandeliers at place settings of Lalique crystal, Tiffany china and silver from France. The state-of-the-art kitchen is a match for the talents of the Twin Palms executive chef. The 80' kitchen includes a butler's pantry, cappuccino/espresso machine, deli slicer, juicer, 6-burner gas Vulcan range and grill (also outdoor grill), 2 ovens, Salamander, 4 fridges, 2 freezers, 4 Viking warming ovens, 2 microwave ovens and 2 dishwashers.
The villa is fronted by seven connecting pools of varying depths that flow ingeniously from one to the next. The children's pool is shallow, the adults' pool is long and deep, the whirlpools are bubbly.
From its lofty peak high above the Caribbean Sea and world-class Tryall golf course, Twin Palms offers exquisite tradewinds and breathtaking ocean views from sunrise to sunset.

Stunning Sweetspot in Runaway Bay Jamaica

Sweetspot is like a pretty jewel box next to the sea. It's remarkable location is the best of all worlds: 6000 square foot private home with a huge lawn and beach. French doors open wide to the lovely sea.

The large lawn is trimmed with colourful hibiscus, bougainvillea, banana trees and stately coconut palms. Beyond the lawn is a 10,000 square foot beach, clear water, and excellent reef, just 50 feet off shore.

On our trip to The Rose Hall Hilton Resort, we attend Jamaica Night buffet and partake of all the favourite foods e.g. curry goat, ackee & codfish, oxtail stew, mackerel rundown, bammy, red snapper, rice & peas just to name a few. We also go to dinner at the more upscale Three Palms restaurant at the golf club complex as well as watch a wedding on the beach. Another enjoyable weeks vacation at the Rose Hall Hilton Hotel.

Coffee drinks were excellent. Staff made us feel like family. They went above and beyond to accommodate special dietary needs and to celebrate our anniversary. Kept us safe and well informed while we were under hurricane watch.
The grounds were lovely, the view was surreal! I loved the different options for meals, coffee shops, snacks, gift shops, etc.. . Breakfast was laid out well and always stocked and hot. The service was excellent.
I loved every thing about this resort mostly I loved the people of Jamaica and the staff. From the moment we got off the plane we were greeted with kindness. Hyatt has their own concierge lounge at airport where you are greeted with cocktails when you arrive then they take you to their shuttle to the resort which is ten minutes away. Check in was very fast less than three minutes we had our room cards. Thank you O'dell the gentleman that took care of us at the front. They went above and beyond for us to make sure our stay was pleasant. I stayed at this resort for 8 days and seven nights and the staff made us feel at home and met our needs. We had a swim up patio suite. We had a lot restaurants to choose from that we loved. Drinks kept coming and so did the jerk chicken and sausage made fresh by the beach. I was sad to leave because we made friends with the Jamaicas that worked there. Recardo, Karey, and Garnett at the pool bar were excellent. Their customer service made my decision to return to this resort every year. Definitely I give this resort ten stars. All inclusive is the way to go. Unlimited drinks, food, snacks and the drinks are strong.
Minuses:
Extra pillows smelled bad. Bed wasn't comfortable until they put a topper on it.
The beach was rocky that's the only thing I didn't like
