Jianbing guozi is a popular street food in Tianjin and hailed as one of China's most popular street breakfasts. Tianjin people and Hebei people take it as breakfast. It consists of mung bean, eggs, and youtiao or crispy dragons, served with sweet bean sauce, diced green onion, and optionally chili sauce.

Massive explosion rocks Tianjin: video shows huge explosives accident in Chinese city - TomoNews
TIANJIN, CHINA — Hundreds of people have been hospitalized after a massive explosion shook the northeastern Chinese city of Tianjin late Wednesday.
An explosion was triggered and followed by a much larger secondary blast after a shipment of explosives caught fire, according to a report by The Guardian.
Video posted to the Chinese microblogging platform Weibo captures the immediate aftermath of the first explosion, which sent enormous plumes of thick smoke over the city, followed by the shocking moment the second blast sent a massive fireball up in the air.
The accident has injured untold hundreds.
“The hospital cannot count how many patients we have received – there are too many of them and many of them have burn injuries,” said a doctor at a local hospital, according to the Guardian, which cited local reports.
Some three to four hundred patients have reportedly been admitted to only a single hospital, the Tianjin Harbor Hospital.

Tianjin is the fourth largest city in China. Over 11 million people live in the greater metropolitan area. It is Beijings main port and is only a 90-100 minute drive to the Southeast. It reminded me of Detroit. it is a major producer of electronics and bicycles and cars. it is very cold. It was much more dirty and gritty than beijing and more flat and less attractive. The architecture was drab. The wind was biting. a handful of chinese flew kites in the large square in front of the tianjin museum. The video is not sharp, but note the dillapidated amusement park rides.

Tianjin is the 4th largest city in China, after Shanghai, Beijing, and Guangzhou. Tianjin boasts the largest artificial harbor in northern China with 30 different sea routes leading to over 300 of the world's ports. Nor is its activity confined to commerce, as an increasing number of Chinese seek adventure overseas, and cruise liners proliferate.

Video footage shows massive explosion in Tianjin, China
Video footage shows the moment a fireball ripped through the night sky in China.
The massive explosion erupted in an industrial area in the northeastern city of Tianjin.
State TV said the blast erupted in a shipment of explosives around 11.30pm local time. The State news agency reported that the fire was under control, but two firefighters were reported missing.
The blast wave could be felt several kilometres away and injured at least 50 people according to local media.

We are back in Tianjin, China after visiting our family in London, UK for Christmas. Now we have moved to China and live here, we want to explore all parts of China. In our city, we have the Hai River that runs through the city centre. In the winter, as the temperate hits the minus number consistently, the river freezes over.
In this vlog, we show winter in China, with locals fishing through the ice and young people ice-skating and playing across the river.

I just recently moved to Tianjin, and this is a video of my first night out. Jinwan Square is one of the places that locals hang out near downtown Tianjin. It's located right on the Hai River across from the train station and near Binjiang Road. It was fun. I hope you all enjoy!

Tianjin, What To Do? - Joy City
Joy City, or 大悦城, is one of Tianjin's biggest malls, and it's got a lot of stuff to do besides shopping. There are a lot of restaurants, shops, a cinema, ice rink, and more! What sets it apart from other malls is the amount of western brands that are available to choose from here. It's a place that you're going to want to visit while you're in Tianjin, particularly if you've got nothing in mind and just want to hang out.
