黄山 Mt Huangshan, China (Yellow Mountains) | Timelapse 8K
The sacred mountains of 黄山 Huangshan, China have been a magnet for emperors, artists and monks for centuries. Its dramatic landscapes and granite peaks has inspired numerous classic paintings and poems in Chinese culture.
As someone who has travelled and shot Yosemite extensively, I also refer to Huangshan as the Yosemite of China.
I travelled here during the winter and autumn seasons over the span of a year. The visuals were captured in 8K resolution. If you enjoyed it, please like, share and subscribe!

Stone Treasure Fortress
Shibaozhai (simplified Chinese: 石宝寨; traditional Chinese: 石寶寨; pinyin: shí bǎo zhài; literally: Precious Stone Fortress) is a hill along the bank of the Yangtze River (Chang Jiang) in Zhong County, Chongqing, China. This rocky and craggy hill has extremely steep sides and is about 200 meters (660 feet) tall. On the river side of the hill is a red pavilion which leans against the side of the hill providing a walkway to the temple at the top of the hill. One of the largest wooden temple, red pavilion built at the side of rock and has nine floors. A yellow entrance at the base of the pavilion provides an entrance.
New Milk Rort in China
The safety and security of China's food supply is again in question, with new evidence that milk processors over there, are again adding harmful protein-boosting agents to milk. There is growing consumer concern in China about the safety of milk powder, and that unease is filtering back to New Zealand exporters. Benedict Collins reports...

Walking on the Glass Bridge in Zhangjiajie, China
On my 2nd full day in Zhangjiajie I went to the Glass Bridge and the canyon in the Wulingyuan area. The bridge is the longest and tallest glass bottomed bridge in the world. The bridge opened in August 2016 and is about 530 meters long, 6 meters wide and 260 meters high.
It was a bit scary, but not as scary as the cable cart I took on day 3. If you go, come early as it gets really busy. Also, you're not allowed to bring cameras on to the bridge, only phones. Finally, you will have to show your passport when buying the ticket.

China Jiuzhaigou — Colorful Alpine Lakes
Jiuzhaigou, in remote west China, has inspired dreams of a colorful fairyland among many travelers. Jiuzhaigou features multicolored lakes surrounded by vast mountain forests. These lakes change color throughout the day and year. The colors come from the reflections of surrounding mountainsides and algae and minerals in the lakes.
Fall is the most beautiful season in Jiuzhaigou, when the landscape changes color, providing a vivid backdrop of autumnal hues — an unspoiled, dazzlingly beauty rarely rivaled in China.

SUMMARY
=======
The 1939–40 Winter Offensive was one of the major engagements between the National Revolutionary Army and Imperial Japanese Army during the Second Sino-Japanese War, in which Chinese forces launched their first major counter-offensive on multiple fronts. Although this offensive failed to achieve its original objectives, some studies have shown that it came as a heavy blow to the Japanese forces, as well as a massive shock to the Japanese military command, which did not expect the Chinese forces to be able to launch an offensive operation on such a large scale.By April 1940 the Japanese army had successfully fought the operation to a halt. However, a Japanese counteroffensive in the northern theater failed to seize Ningxia and was defeated in Suiyuan by Chinese Muslim forces. Muslim cavalry under Gen. Ma Biao destroyed Japanese armies in Henan. Muslim Gen. Bai Chongxi defeated the Japanese in Guangxi.
