Waterfall Resumes after 60 Years' Disappearance in East China
Turbulent flow poured down the Tiantai Mountain in Taizhou City of east China's Zhejiang Province on Thursday after 60 years' cutoff.
With an overall height of 325 meters, the Tiantai Mountain Waterfall has several stairs. Its maximum width is 90 meters.
The original natural waterfall disappeared 60 years ago due to the construction of a reservoir and a power plant in order to meet local demand of electricity and irrigation. Later a new reservoir was built at the upstream of the old one, which restored the waterfall.
The Tiantai Mountain Waterfall is an all-weather waterfall that has stable water storage and controllable flow.

IF YOU HAVE ANY INFO ON THIS SET PLEASE WRITE ME!!!
I've been trying to find out some information about the form on this clip for a while now and I'm totally stumped. The info included says this form has been passed down through four generations in ChenZhou prefecture, ZiXing county GaoMa village / township?
the set is named 上矿拳 Shàng Kuàng Quán (Coming up/On top of, Mine/Ore, Boxing) according to oral tradition it originates in Bagua Quan (Eight Diagram Boxing). Obviously this doesn't refer to Bagua Zhang, but I don't know of any system in Hunan that uses Bagua in it's name. The set is being performed by cáo guānghuī, 4th generation inheritor and possibly the last master (It also says the style is about to go exinct).

Mount Jiu Hua and its Temples
Mount Jiuhua (Nine Glorious Mountains) is one of the four sacred mountains of Chinese Buddhism. It is located in Qingyang County in Anhui province and is famous for its rich landscape and ancient temples.
Many of the mountain's shrines and temples are dedicated to Ksitigarbha, who is a bodhisattva and protector of beings in hell realms according to Mahayana Buddhist tradition. Pious Buddhists often visit Anhui to climb to Greater Tiantai peak, which is regarded as Jiuhuashan's most important peak, although it is not the tallest.

During the early Qing Dynasty the Hei Hu Quan / Hei Hu Men style was introduced to Taizhou city from Northern China. Since that time the center of Hei Hu Men practice in the area has been Tantou village, a suburb of Taizhou city.
Before the introduction of the Hei Hu Men style many of the people in this area practiced what they referred to as Qi Jia Quan. This was a collection of random forms, drills, and methods said to have been passed down from those taught to the local militias during the Ming dynasty by general Qi Jiguang.
Certain lineages of Hei Hu Men, such as the Zhang family system shown here, are said to have integrated some of these local methods into their Hei Hu Men practice.
Tantou town is located in Tiantai county at the foot of mt.Tiantai in Zhejiang's Taizhou prefecture. mt.Tiantai is the birthplace of the Tiantai (Jap.Tendai)sect of Buddhism. Home to many temples mt.tiantai was an important place for the development of Chinese Buddhism. The local culture has benefited greatly from the knowledge brought by the many monks and pilgrims who have traveled to the mountain over the centuries.
The area has also benefited from it's close proximity to the coastal port of Taizhou city.
Located south of the Yangtze river delta along the southern edge of the Zhoushan archipelago it has been a stopping point for many ships bringing goods and people south from areas all across the interior of China.

Demographics of China
The demographics of the People's Republic of China are identified by a large population with a relatively small youth division, which is partially a result of China's one-child policy. Chinese population reached the billion mark in 1982.
China's population is over 1.355 billion, the largest of any country in the world. According to the 2010 census, 91.51% of the population was of the Han Chinese, and 8.49% were minorities. China's population growth rate is only 0.47%, ranking 159th in the world. China conducted its sixth national population census on 1 November 2010. Unless otherwise indicated, the statistics on this page pertain to mainland China only; see also Demographics of Hong Kong, Demographics of Macau, and Demographics of Taiwan.

Five Classics Strong Boxing of Putang village, Zhejiang Province
Putang Wu Jing Qiang Quan
Putang village Five Classics Strong Boxing AKA Wu Jing Quan Five Classics Boxing, Qiang Quan Strong Boxing, Wu Qin Quan Five Seizing Boxing, Longtang Quan Alley Boxing
Wu Jing Quan is the term used for a local type of boxing spread around Jinhua Prefecture in Zhejiang. According to local oral tradition Wu Jing Quan dates back to the middle of the Ming dynasty in the Jinhua region.
This video focuses on the style of Wujing Quan found in Putang village in the Jindong district of Jinhua.
Putang has a long martial history with most of the residents claiming descent from famous Five Dynasties period general Wang Yanchao. By the late Qing the village had become known for it's martial skills
In the past the boxing methods practiced by the local people in Putang was often simply referred to as Longtang Quan Alley Boxing because many people used to use the space in the narrow alleys behind and between buildings to practice boxing methods.
The system now practiced in Putang village is considered to have fully developed to it's present state within the first year or two of the 20th century.
At that time a boxing teacher from Jinhua's Yongkang county heard of the boxing skills of the people of Putang village.
He travelled there and challenged the local teachers. After being beaten he exchanged methods with them resulting in what they considered to be the best features of Yongkang Wu Jing Quan being brought into the practice of Putang Wu Jing Qiang Quan.
During the late Qing through the end of the Republican era Wujing Qiang Quan was practiced by almost all of the residents of Putang village.
Even today almost all of the older residents had practiced during their childhood and a number of them have continued the practice into old age.
In the last few years the practice of Wujing Quan in Putang village has again become popular with large amounts of the village children now practicing boxing and many of the older villagers starting to practice again after years.
A park known as Wu Jing Yuan (Five Classics Park) has been created in the village for the practice of martial arts. The park features an open space for forms and sparring practice as well as plum blossom poles, heavy bags, and wooden dummies.
With the creation of the park and with older residents regularly teaching there a number of people from surrounding communities have started coming for regular lessons.
There have also been a number of people who have come to the village in groups from North America, Europe, and other Asian countries to take lessons in boxing.

Imperial Ancestry Temple Tour / 太庙 / 太廟
The main complex of the Imperial Ancestral Temple / 太庙 / 太廟 was closed for event preparations when I was there. The complex is a historic site in the Imperial City, just outside the Forbidden City, where during both the Ming and Qing Dynasties, sacrificial ceremonies were held on the most important festival occasions in honor of the imperial family's ancestors.
The temple, which resembles the Forbidden City's ground plan, is a cluster of buildings in three large courtyards separated by walls. The main hall inside the temple is the Hall for Worship of Ancestors, which is one of only four buildings in Beijing to stand on a three-tiered platform, a hint that it was the most sacred site in imperial Beijing. It contains seats and beds for the tablets of emperors and empresses, as well as incense burners and offerings. On the occasion of large-scale ceremonies for worship of ancestors, the emperors would come here to participate.
Flanking the courtyard in front of this hall are two long, narrow buildings. These were worship halls for various princes and courtiers. The Western Wing housed the memorial tablets of meritorious courtiers, while the Eastern Wing enshrined various princes of the Ming or Qing dynasty.
Behind the Hall for Worship of Ancestors are two other main halls. The first was built in 1420 and used to store imperial ancestral tablets.
By the 1920s, the Imperial Ancestral Temple and its surrounding spaces had become a public park, and that public park today has been expanded from its original size and is now also known as the Working People's Cultural Palace (劳动人民文化宫). This park was extended based on the Imperial Ancestral Hall site, and the park is located east of Tiananmen, while the Zhongshan Park lies to the west. These two parks along with Beihai Park and Jingshan and several other parks have a deep historic tie with the Forbidden City.

Chinese Buddhism or Han Buddhism has shaped Chinese culture in a wide variety of areas including art, politics, literature, philosophy, medicine, and material culture.
The translation of a large body of Indian Buddhist scriptures into Chinese and the inclusion of these translations together with works composed in China into a printed canon had far-reaching implications for the dissemination of Buddhism throughout the Chinese cultural sphere, including Korea, Japan, Taiwan and Vietnam. Chinese Buddhism is also marked by the interaction between Indian religions, Chinese religion, and Taoism.
