This is the moment a ferocious lion tried to topple a safari car in an Indian wildlife park.
A gripping video shows two lions attacking the car in which a group of tourists was travelling. The video of the incident was captured by a driver, who was driving a safari bus in Bannerghatta Biological Park in Karnataka, India.
One of the lions is seen pouncing on the car and trying to bite off the rear glass while the other lion stands near the front wheel.
The shocked cries of the panicked tourists are clearly audible in the video.
But the quick witted car safari driver managed to speed away before the situation got out of hand.

Tiger%202012
Visited Dudhwa Tiger Reserve on 3'rd May 2012.I was told that it was very rare to sight a tiger. But we were very fortunate to sight one and capture the same. The tiger was kind enough to come out of the bushes and pose a walk for our camera. My son Aditya was thrilled to capture in the handycam.

Leopard near Jodhpur City. जोधपुर हवाई अड्डे के पास स्थित जंगल में तेंदुए के होने के चिन्ह मिले हैं
In many parts of India, leopards live in close proximity to human habitations with surprisingly low levels of conflict. They are capable of living and breeding even in degraded forests, plantations and croplands, and manage to survive on a variety of small wild prey, domestic dogs, livestock and feral animals.
This is a second time in two years, that leopard presence is in this area. Being a highly adaptive species, we have to learn how to manage the interface issues with wildlife.

DNA samples of Bengal tigers polluted by genes of the Siberian tiger
More detail at - (wildfact forum)
Excerpt -
In a study A team of wildlife researchers has found the DNA samples of two Royal Bengal tigers (Panthera tigris tigris) from Dudhwa National Park in Uttar Pradesh polluted by genes of the Siberian tiger.
Working on blood and hair samples from 22 tigers of known wild origin from all over the country, Singh studied the vital sequences of the DNA that are peculiar to each species. The readings showed around 21 per cent heterozygosity in Indian tigers, which means that the felines drew genetic characteristics from more than one gene pool. Much of the variation arose out of cross-breeding between tigers from the country's 23 tiger reserves
