RVing Oregon Coast - Astoria, Cannon Beach and Tillamook Creamery
Owen, Lynn and Maggie visit the beautiful Oregon coast in our Winnebago Travato van. Wow! What views from Hwy 101!
If you’ve been following us for a while you know that we left in June for a trip to Alaska in our Travato van. After 3 months we crossed back into Montana with plans to head home. But, weather and the fact that we were already more than half way across the country changed those plans so that we could visit the Pacific Northwest (PNW), specifically the coast of Washington and Oregon. If you haven’t seen those previous videos I’ll put a link in the description and in the video.
In today’s episode we leave Washington and cross the famous Astoria bridge. We stay at several great Oregon state parks. We take you with us to Ecola State Park, Cannon Beach and Tillamook Creamery. If you watch until the end you’ll be rewarded with scenes of the happiest dog as she gets to eat ice cream from the creamery.
We are glad you’re here. Be sure to like and comment and if this is your first time here or you’ve been just watching and enjoying, click on the Subscribe button so we can stay connected to you.

North Oregon Coast - Seaside, Indian Beach and Cannon Beach
Early in the Summer of 07 I did a weekend trip to the Oregon Coast with my wife, Diane. We stayed overnight in Seaside, then went down the Coast to Indian Beach where we hiked the Hikers Camp Loop up to the Tillamook Head Overlook and then back to Indian Beach. We finished the day with a stop at Ecola State Park and Cannon Beach. Produced by Andrew Burnett, Come Out And Play Productions, andrew@goodimpressions.us

Crabbing and Camping on the Oregon Coast - How to & Where to
In 2013 we were making our way up the Oregon coast when our friends the RV Geeks reached out and told us “you gotta stop by Waldport, we built a website for McKinley’s campground and they’d love to have a video to share about crabbing.” We did a little research on the campground and it turned out they sell shellfish licenses, rent boats, crab rings and everything else we’d need to “do it ourselves”. We were hooked on the idea and we promptly directed our RV north.
The Oregon coast is simply breathtaking and it was our first crabbing experience and it was perfect! Thanks to McKinley's for hosting us and we can honestly say this small family owned park is worth a visit, especially if you like crabbing, clamming, nature and Rogue Beer (their HQ is just up the road!).

WHALES & RAINBOWS | OREGON COAST LIGHTHOUSE | DRONE CRASH | RV TRAVEL DAY STOPS S3 || Ep33
We continue our journey down the 101 into Oregon and show how amazing travel days can be in an RV! We get a tour of Yaquina Head Lighthouse, see some whales, Corey crashes the drone in Devil’s Punchbowl (an ocean cave on the Oregon coast) and we get to tour the Tillamook factory with cheese tasting and ice cream! Did we mention how much we love Oregon!
In this episode, we stay in 2 Thousand Trails campgrounds, Seaside RV Resort and Whalers Rest RV & Camping Resort, that both were easy access off the 101 and gave us great spots so we could explore everything around us in those areas.
For more information about Thousand Trails:
Thousand Trails:
Thousand Trails is a network of 81 campgrounds located in popular camping destinations throughout the United States and British Columbia, Canada. Thousand Trails offers customers the best value in camping with a variety of membership options. However, each Thousand Trails campground caters to members and non-members alike, so you do not need to be a member to enjoy these campgrounds. Thousand Trails campgrounds are packed with varying amenities and activities such as swimming pools, basketball, bocce ball, boating, fishing, clubhouses, hiking and biking trails, tennis, volleyball, pickleball, mini golf, playgrounds and more.
While Thousand Trails and Encore RV Resorts are affiliated brands, these campgrounds carry the Thousand Trails brand, and are not Encore RV Resorts.

Hiking Ecola State Park to Crescent Beach》Oregon Coast Vlog 》caityallyssa
Hey guys! Sorry, it's been a while since my last video! I've been working a new shift at work and we're in a busy season right now so finding time for filming has been a little bit tricky! Anyways, Jon and I finally made our way out to the Oregon Coast for the first time. The plan was to go to Cannon Beach, but we ended up hiking a beach access trail in Ecola State Park down to Crescent Beach. We took Oakley and Twinkie along with us and they had a blast! I hope you enjoy this little vlog. If you haven't already, please subscribe and turn on your notifications so you don't miss any uploads from me. Thank you for taking the time out of your day to watch my videos! It really means the world to me!
Peace & Love,
Caitlin

Underwater GoPro Camera in Crab Pot/Trap, Oregon Coast,Yaquina Bay, Newport Oregon Coast
Amazing underwater view of what happens to your crab trap underwater and what is stealing your bait!
Watching the crab pot soak for 50 minutes before pulling it up.
Nothing but chicken for bait, the Dungeness, red rock crab and fish all seemed to love it.
On the second toss the trap landed on a stray bait box but still managed to catch a few crab.
Bonus points to anyone who can identify the fish in the comments section
