Kinbrook Island Provincial Park Near Brooks (4K) | Journey Alberta
While on my way back to Calgary from Medicine Hat, I stop at the Kinbrook Island Provincial Park near Brooks. I noticed right away that this park is very well kept, with everything looking well maintained. There's a campground here and a day use area with firepits, so whether you come out for the day or to camp there's something for everyone. It's also situated of Lake Newell, which many people use for boating or water sports!
Shot on a Panasonic G7 at 4K/24fps, a GoPro Hero 4, and a DJI Phantom 3 4K.
Stabilized using a Glidecam XR1000, with camera mounted to a Manfrotto quick release plate

Family friendly amenities and staff friendly.Very great lake and so beautiful place.This park on Lake Newell is a welcome relief on hot prairie days.An interpretative trail takes you through the nearby wetlands and introduces you to the area’s many bird species.Kinbrook is close enough for day trips to Dinosaurs Provincial Park,UNESCO World Heritage site,only a 45 minute drive to the northeast.Reservations are highly recommended.Facilities include showers,flush toilets,sewage dumping,laundry, and a pay phone.There is also a boat launch,playground,seasonal concession and fish cleaning stand.Enjoy watching ????Thank you????
