Tinago Falls is a waterfall on the Agus River, located in between the town of Linamon and Iligan City, Lanao del Norte in the southern Philippine island of Mindanao. It is one of the main tourist attractions of Iligan, a city known as the City of Majestic Waterfalls.

Welcome to TINAGO FALLS!
At long last guys, i'm beyond excited to show you our dearest pride here in Iligan City, the ever majestic Tinago Falls.
In this vlog, we took the Buruun entry point going to Tinago Falls since they have the newest renovated staircase with 355 steps down. It's definitely worth the hangak guys, swear!
It's only 2 hours away from Cagayan De Oro (which most of the tourists are travelling from) and you can either take the Buruun or Linamon entry point going up the area.
We took a lot of great pictures there (thanks to my ever talented brother as our photographer) and made fun memories with my love ones.

Hi travelers, sa nagnanais ma experience ang bagong hagdanan ng Tinago falls ito po ang guide.
Ofcourse pumunta muna kayo sa Iligan City, Lanao del norte. Ang bagong hagdan ay nasa Barangay Buru-on. Dalawa ang possibleng papuntang Tinago - nasa Barangay Buru-on at ang isa ay sa Linamon.
Pag nasa Buru-on kana, baba ka po sa Market. May mga habal2 or motorcycle na naghahatid papuntang Tinago - sabihin mo lang kung san kayo papunta, 50 sa isang tao.
WALA ENTRANCE FEE pag sa buru-on ka papasok papuntang TINAGO, may 75 pesos lang para sa LIFE JACKET at Bangka kawayan - SOP na sa yon kung papunta kang falls.

Tinago Falls
Hidden deep within a Filipino jungle is an incredible waterfall that plunges into a dazzling blue-green pool.
Away from the more than 300,000 inhabitants of nearby Iligan City, Tinago Falls provides a serene getaway deep within the jungles of Mindanao. Tucked within a forest-fringed ravine, this mighty waterfall’s name fittingly means “one that is hidden.”
Approximately 240 feet high, its colossal rock structures are dotted by thick masses of trees and natural foliage. Despite this towering scene, what lies at the bottom of the falls leaves visitors in even greater awe.
Tinago’s basin features a stunning blue-green pool of water. The colorful sheen of the water is more than enough to inspire legends of supernatural guardians that protect this aquamarine refuge.
In spite of its mystic undertones, Tinago has been developed by locals to carry adventurers toward the falls. By way of a small ferry ride on one of two makeshift bamboo rafts, you can experience one of the area’s main attractions: when directly underneath the plunging falls, you can feel the therapeutic beating of the water on your skin.
More than a hundred feet deep, the basin is not only a site for those who want a peaceful sanctuary, but also those who crave adventure. Thrill-seekers and adrenaline junkies are often found climbing and jumping off of the high rock walls surrounding the basin.
Know Before You Go
Tinago is under the care of the Philippine Tourism Authority. As a result, a small fee of about 50₱ (around $1) is required. Be prepared to climb up and down the ravine's more than 500 individual stairs from Iligan side and 436 steps from Linamon, Lanao del Norte entrance. Bring some water to drink, you'll need it.

Going to Tinago Falls, Iligan City, Lanao del Norte.
Tinago Falls is a waterfall in Iligan City, Lanao del Norte in the southern Philippine island of Mindanao. It is one of the main tourist attractions in Iligan, a city known as the City of Majestic Waterfalls.
Tinago falls is one of the most beautiful places to visit in Mindanao. The mixed blue and green water can help relief your negative vibes!
Usually I travel with a plan but when I decided to go to Tinago falls I said to myself. Hey! look for adventure. well, The adventure part was when I got chased by this huge wild monkey. lol
I traveled around 8am in the morning and arrived at Iligan City probably around 11:30am. The took so long since some main roads are currently under construction.
After arriving at the Iligan City Bus Terminal, I asked a lot of the locals for directions heading to Tinago Falls. Good thing they speak the same dialect Bisaya. I followed every instructions they gave me and rode a PUJ heading to the town where the falls is located, about 3-4 km from the main road. Since I was uncertain of my whereabouts and unfamiliarity of the town's location, I opened my google maps just to make sure where I was, just to be on the safe side.
