Aberdeen Legends Joey Harper and Bobby Clark at The Tivoli Theatre Thurs 13 Feb 2020
Aberdeen Legends Joey Harper and Bobby Clark appear at The Tivoli Theatre Thurs 13 Feb 2020.
Soccer lovers are to be treated to a unique evening in the company of two legendary Aberdeen football stars.
‘King Joey’ Harper and Bobby ‘They-Shall-Not-Pass’ Clark are to star in a show titled Aberdeen Legends in Conversation. Compering the evening is commentator, author and presenter Gerry McDade.
Gerry promises an evening of candid conversation. “It’s a chance to join the Aberdeen FC ‘Hall of Fame’ legends as they discuss being the first two Dons to win a full set of Scottish domestic winner’s medals,” he says.
“They’ll discuss Joe’s record-breaking haul of club goals and the season when Bobby defied teams by not conceding a single goal for over 19 incredible hours.”
Trophies, titles and international honours, from a golden era in Aberdeen history, will be the topic of conversation during an evening of candid entertainment and celebration.
Presented by Scotland’s leading theatre promotion company Artistes International Management, tickets for this unique evening’s entertainment have just been made available to the public. The event takes place on Thursday, February 13, 2020.
“There are a limited number of VIP tickets available,” says David Halford of AIM. “These offer premium seating at the front of auditorium, a chance to meet and greet the players at 6pm, a photo opportunity and the signature of one piece of merchandise.
“In our experience, these tickets sell out quickly so theatregoers are advised to get in early or they could miss out.”

Aberdeen Cinemas
A nostalgic view of many of Aberdeen's cinemas. Of a total of 50, only the Kingsway survives relatively intact thanks to bingo, the Queens as a nightclub and the Capitol, though only the foyers are unchanged. Happily, the Belmont is now a triple screen Picture House. The music is the organ of the Astoria, then the Capitol - both Comptons.
