About Riley: I quit my job in October '14 and moved to Chiang Mai, Thailand (the Digital Nomad capital of the world) with my best friend on a mission to replace our 9-5 incomes with an online business and continue to travel the world. Well, I'm still here folks and it's amazing.
[A Digital Nomad is someone who works from their laptop and chooses to travel for fun, and/or because the cost of living is much cheaper in other countries, in order to bootstrap more money into their online business, while having an exotic lifestyle.]

African Safari: Nairobi, Kenya Culture Masai
A video I made of my trip to Kenya in 2003.
I volunteered with the Earthwatch Institute at Sweetwaters Black Rhino Reserve.
Music is by Hans Zimmer, from the soundtrack to The Lion King. Why did I use this music? Because the music recorded live from the event didn't come out well - I was too far away.
Travel Vlog ✈️ Destination: Nairobi, Kenya
If you have never traveled to Kenya, then in this video, I'm bringing you the first hand experience, going from Gaborone to Johannesburg and finally Nairobi.
Happy holidays everyone!

Thank you for watching this ultimate Kenyan street food tour in Nairobi! I met up with my friend James who took me around to a few of his favorite spots to eat.
Kawangware, Nairobi, Kenya
Here's most of the food we tried on this amazing tour of Nairobi:
Ann Restaurant - Dagoretti Corner - This small street food stall on Dagoretti Corner in Nairobi serves all sorts of Kenyan / East African foods. Their chapatis are especially good, and their Lake Victoria sardines fried with tomatoes.
Chapati
Dagaa - Lake Victoria sardine
Matumbo - stomach stew
Githeri - beans and maize
The guy sitting across the table - “you should not eat beans and sardines together, or you’ll have gas.”
Total bill - 1,050 KES ($10.39) - we paid for 4 or 5 guys eating there
Stomach Clinix - This was the best food stop of the day, a neighborhood meat shop that James took me to that specializes in cow head soup. The grilled tongue was also spectacular, but the soup was the best.
Total price - 200 KES ($1.98)
Dagoretti Market - After the meat, we took a walk over to Dagoretti Market. After browsing around for a while, we stopped for another plate of mixed Kenyan food, mostly dengu, which are mung beans. It was simple, but quite good.
Dengu - mung beans
Total price - 300 KES ($2.97)
Unity Cafe Hotel - We met up with some of James' friend in Kawangware, and went to eat across the street from their shoe shop. The mandazi mix was the highlight of this Kenyan meal.
Total price - 600 KES ($5.94) for all
Cow foot fry - Next we headed over to Oscar who makes cow food soup, fry and boil. He was a very friendly man, and showed me his entire process of making cow foot soup. It was delicious!
Total price - 450 KES ($4.45)
Kenyan street food - To end this Kenyan street food tour of Nairobi we had to eat one of the ultimate Kenyan fast food meat treats. You'll see these types of grills all over the streets in the late afternoon throughout Nairobi. You just choose what you want, it's cut on the chopping board, and you stand and eat.
Esophagus
Intestines
Mutura - minced meat sausage
Mutura - blood sausage
Udder
Total price - 200 KES ($1.97)
Thank you for watching this ultimate Nairobi street food tour!

Our Amazing Trip to Kenya, Africa | Watamu, Tsavo East, Nairobi, Malindi, Gede
Our trip to Africa was our first major trip together as a married couple and it has grown us as people immensely. What a magical and rewarding experience. We have touched lives and, we believe, made lasting change.
Our trip to Kenya, Africa has been one of the most incredible experiences of our life. We heard an authentic African acapella group, kissed giraffes, pet baby elephants, saw a baby rhino, fed monkeys, held crocs, pet a 200 year old tortoise, saw the location of the Lion King (Hell’s Gate), learned how to make mandazi, saw the heavenly white beach, canoed through the mangroves in Mida Creek, walked along coral reefs, saw the bottle-nosed dolphins, snorkelled with the fish, met with the elephants - got charged on multiple occasions, went on an African safari, slept under the stars seeing animals all around you ask you wake up (Elephants, lions, cheetahs, Zebras, Giraffes, dik diks, gazelles, kudus, oryx, hartebeests, impalas, water bucks, sikes monkeys, baboons, buffalo, Ugandas national bird - crested crane w/ babies, & bush babies), saw the beautiful trees of Africa, visited an ecolodge and experienced a local band, had authentic Italian pizza, visited eco world - we saw the eco friendly solutions being implemented in Kenya, experienced the process of neem becoming a recognized medicine - helped kids with jiggers, toured Mombasa - seeing Fort Jesus & the Mombasa Tusks, and we took the train through national parks - passing right by elephants, giraffes, and other animals.
We are so incredibly grateful to every single person that has helped us go, and all the people that touched our lives while in Kenya. You are all so special to us - you mean more to us than words can say.
Special shoutout to Bingo and Joseph - the Kamango brothers who are a part of the Legends Taekwondo & Multisports gym coming up soon.

Let's go to Kenya | Nairobi downtown | Mombasa hostel | Go to Zanzibar | Kibera slum documentary
Let's go to Kenya - this is what I had on my mind right before I had decided to go on another volunteer mission. This time, I was going to Africa. It took a lot of time to plan the route, contact schools and get vaccinations. Sex slaves - it is just a catchy title, there will be nothing about sex in the video. You need to understand that. Nairobi downtown is a dirty place full of people, but there are also civilized areas that have things like pizza places, government buildings and some universities. Then, I went to Mombasa City, which is located on the ocean, and stayed there for a while. After that, I started heading to Zanzibar through Tanzania, visiting a city called Tanga. I took a small plane from Tanga to Pemba Island, which is next to Zanzibar. Going to Zanzibar - this what I had in my mind, at that time! After that, I returned to the mainland of Tanzania and took a train to Victoria Lake and returned to Nairobi. In the video, you will see a lot of footage from one of the biggest slums of Africa - Kibera. Kibera Slum Documentary - this might be a better title for this video.
