EXPLORING ST. GEORGE, BERMUDA | TOBACCO BAY BEACH | TRAVEL VLOG
We explored the city of St. George, Bermuda. It is about 45-60 minutes via bus to get there from Hamilton. The vibe of the city is a little more chill in comparison with Hamilton. It was a great place for people of all ages. The food was really good at Wahoo's which was recommended to us by our AirBnb host. Then we went to Tobacco Bay beach which was much smaller than Horse Shoe Beach, but was still a great time. After that, we checked out Fort St. Catherines which is this museum that was previously an artillery defense fort overseeing the protection of Bermuda. We were not able to do the tour because it was past 6pm when we finally made it there, but the cost of the tour is $7 for adults and they last about 20 minutes.

Tobacco Bay Beach Bermuda & Snorkeling (4K)
We visited Bermuda via cruise ship for 3 days. One of the days we spent at St George, where we walked to Tobacco Bay Beach (took about 20 minutes from the ferry terminal) and enjoyed some swimming & snorkeling there. It was overcast and windy, so the waters were a bit cold even in June. Snorkeling-wise this was a nice spot- as you can see in the video we saw a lot of fish, the most interesting being the Princess Parrotfish.
There is a restaurant and bar right at the beach, and we've posted the menu prices for the drinks & food, as well as the costs for beach chair & kayak rental. There is a public bathroom that is free to use.
After fun on the beach we headed over to the nearby Fort St Catherine, which is about a 15 minute walk away.

La plage de Tobacco Bay est une des plages les plus populaires de l'île. Plusieurs y viennent pour la plongée en apnée car les eaux sont calmes et peu profondes et la vie marine est abondante dans ce secteur.
De hautes colonnes de roches calcaires séparent la baie de l'océan. Elles rendent le paysage vraiment unique.
La plage est super belle mais n'est pas très grande. Lors de notre passage, au mois de novembre, l'endroit n'était pas très fréquenté.
Cependant, il en est autrement lorsqu'un bateau de croisière accoste à St. George.
On y retrouve un restaurant et un bar. Plusieurs activités de plage et de sports nautiques sont offertes. On peut également y faire la location de chaises longues et parasols, serviettes de plage, etc.
Je vous invite également à vous rendre au haut de la falaise en arrière du bâtiment principal afin d'avoir une superbe vue panoramique de cette baie. Il y a également un petit sentier qui longe le littoral.
En redescendant sur le chemin principal, tournez à gauche et poursuivez votre randonnée (environ 2 minutes en direction du Fort Ste-Catherine. Il s'agit d'une petite route sans issue. Vous y verrez des formations rocheuses vraiment spectaculaires.

WOW...what a full day! We rented vehicles from Oleander Cycle. Drove to St. George where our Aniag Shine vehicles died. We ate at the White Horse Pub and Tavern. We had great ice cream at Temptations. We mounted up in our vehicles and checked out Crystal Caverns which are super cool. Then we hit Tobacco Bay to cool off, swim and snorkel. Lastly we hit a festival in Hamilton and flew the drone a bit. Enjoy the video...we'll have another one to follow!

Tobacco Bay Beach is the main public beach in St Georges Parish, Bermuda. Its sheltered waters make it one of the best beaches in Bermuda for kids, snorkeling and swimming.
Facilities include a concession selling food, drinks, and renting snorkelling gear, beach chairs, and umbrellas.
Tobacco Bay Beach is extremely popular with cruise ship passengers visiting the town of St George. The beach is a 10 minute walk from the centre of the town.

The underwater quality of this video is not too great, I am sorry. The water was a little murky in the areas that I was snorkeling. I think my other two videos are a lot better.
