Still No Idea is Lisa and Rachael’s quest: a mischievous look at two friends searching for drama, action, and a story to tell. Part-verbatim theatre, part-confession, part-comedy sketch show with a bit of singing and dancing thrown in. Turns out getting the public to write your story is quite an adventure.

An Evening with an Immigrant hits Bristol
Tobacco Factory Theatres BEYOND is proud to present an amazing autobiographical piece by award-winning poet and playwright Inua Ellams at The Cube Microplex on Wed 12 & Thu 13 October 2016.
Born to a Muslim father and a Christian mother in what is now considered to be Boko Haram territory, in 1996 at the age of 12,
Inua Ellams left Nigeria for England. He then moved to Ireland
briefly before returning to London and starting work as a writer
and graphic designer.
Part of his fascinating story was documented in his hilarious, Edinburgh Fringe First Award-winning play The 14th Tale, but much of it is untold. Littered with poems, stories and anecdotes, over the course of an evening, Inua tells his ridiculous, fantastic, poignant immigrant-story of escaping extremist Islam, directing an arts festival at his college in Dublin, performing solo shows at the National Theatre, and drinking wine with the Queen of England, all the while without a country to belong to or place to call home.
Born in Nigeria, Inua Ellams is an award-winning poet, playwright and founder of the Midnight Run – an international, arts-filled, night-time urban walking experience. Identity, displacement and destiny are recurring themes in his work, in which he tries mixing the old with the new, the traditional with the contemporary

Akademi presents Daredevas; a showcase for up and coming South Asian dancers from London and across the UK. Daredevas features the brightest young talents in contemporary Indian dance, British-based with international roots, these artists provide a fresh take on traditional Indian dance styles, showing a mix of bold and adventurous choreographies. Styles range from energetic traditional Bharata Natyam and intricate extensions of Kathak to contemporary dance and creative fusions of various Indian and Western dance forms.

The Loco Klub, Bristol, Where is it?
A funny little video showing you how to get to The Loco Klub, Temple Meads, Bristol BS1 6QH.
The Loco Klub is a new and exciting underground arts venue opened in the Bristol enterprise zone beneath the passenger shed in Temple Meads.
The project is a creative collaboration between The Invisible Circus and Artspace Lifespace who as sister companies brought you such ground breaking projects as The Island and Pro cathedral. The venue is rising from the ashes of the old railway social club that formerly stood on the site and as well as boasting a series of fabulous performance spaces in the former social club bar rooms also holds a hidden treasure, a series of Brunel built railway arches hidden behind the flock wall paper and wooden panels of the social club, the former ash pits of the original station above these underground caverns are a unique and jaw dropping performance space unlike anything else in the city.
This atmospheric new venue will host a wide variety of arts events and performances including promenade theatre shows, Circus Cabaret, dance performances, music events, markets and exhibitions as well as returning to its roots as a social hub.
The project has so far been supported by many Bristol creatives including Circus City, Raucous Theatre, Watershed, New Dawn Traders, Tobacco factory, Boomtown fair, Bristol Old Vic and youth music project Boom Satsuma and we look forwards to a diverse range of events and happenings from these as well as other local, national and international guests.

Sweet Like Chocolate Boy is a storytelling epic that melts timelines, lives, fantasy, Garage and Jungle and critiques Black British Protest in the broiling estates of London.
Mars is a street-smart, enthusiastic, lyrically saturated man-on-the-edge. Bounty is a very quiet boy in a very loud Borough with a new politically charged Black identity swirling around him. As their worlds collide, can they find their place in these times or will they get chewed, swallowed and digested by it?
Returning from a sold out run in London’s Jack Studio, this two time Offie-nominated show aims to examine the spirit of revolution whilst simultaneously celebrating the beauty of Black British Culture from the 90s onwards.
