Invermere is 6 hrs drive from Edmonton. This is equally beautiful in winter and summer. Toby Creek Adventures Ltd is 20 min drive from Invermere which is a part of Panorama Ski Resort. You can either stay in Panorama or Invermere, but Inveremere is well accessible to restaurants, grocery stores etc.

is the link to Toby Adventures. If you are a beginner, go for 1hr base tour which is CAD 100 per driver and if you want to add a passenger, it is 50 dollars more. This includes renting the snowmobile, gears for everyone, trainers, and gsp locators. You need good quality gloves when you go there as it is not provided with the package. 1hr tour includes 30 min uphill and 30 min downhill approximately. You can switch drivers halfway which is better for beginners and also you can enjoy the beauty of the nature much better as a passenger.

If you are interested in seeing the 8000ft top Silver Mining town, you can go for a Paradise package which is 3-4hr tour including frozen waterfall and some packages includes lunch as well. This is approximately 300 dollars.

You can also get snowmobiles for kids as well. More details are in their website. If you are interested in skiing, you can club this trip with Panorama ski trip which is 10 min away from Toby Creek Adventures.

A short drive up the coast

It's Victoria Day Weekend here in Canada. Long weekend!
After doing the yard work, we took a drive along the north shore of Lake Erie and stopped for lunch at the Mohawk Marina in Lowbanks.
Sun, lake, food and above all, peace and quiet. Right on our doorstep. Compare this with two hours nose-to-tail driving and spending another hour parking, and half an hour walk to fight over a towel size piece of beach on a UK Bank Holiday.
I love England, but this really is No Contest.
