In the middle of the mountains Todtnau, between the resorts of Todtnauberg and Aftersteg crashes one of the highest natural waterfalls in Germany - Todtnau waterfall - 97 meters to the valley. The headwaters of the creek Stüben lies at 1,386 meters high Stübenwasen.
Au milieu des montagnes Todtnau, entre les stations de Todtnauberg et Aftersteg plante une des plus hautes chutes d'eau naturelles en Allemagne - chute d'eau de Todtnau - 97 mètres de la vallée. Le cours supérieur du ruisseau Stüben se trouve à 1.386 mètres de haut Stübenwasen.

Todtnauer Wasserfälle is nearly a hour drive from Freiburg in breisgau. This is on the L126 but have to walk fifteen minutes from the parking lot. Best scenic route is via schauinsland - feldsberg route on the L124 and L126 road. Steering control and good tyre grip are required for amazing driving experience way up to Feldsberg. One of the best place in winter for skiing and scenic snow clad landscape.

Best things to do in Todtnau- the Hasenhorn Rodelbahn Toboggan run and the Todtnau Waterfall
We finally made it to Germany and we head straight for Todtnau- which has a toboggan run (the Hasenhorn Rodelbahn) & the beautiful waterfall. (Todtnau Wasserfall)

Todtnau is a gorgeous village in the Schwarzwald (Black Forest) in southern Germany. We found a great Stellplatz for our motorhome, met a lovely couple with a gorgeous dog, went on a toboggan run coaster (WARNING- probably not suitable viewing if you get motion sickness) and visit the Todtnau waterfall- which was prettier than I expected and well worth a visit. And of course, we fly the drone. All in all, we highly recommend Todtnau if you are visiting Germany in your motorhome!

In the early summer of 2015 we headed to the waterfall near Todtnau in the Belchen region of the Black Forest. With its 97 metres this is one of the highest waterfalls in Germany. Very impressive and beautiful!

A big waterfall in Totdnau in the Black Forest - a natural spectacle simply gigantic. You can walk around the waterfall very well.

Hasenhorn Rodelbahn - Todtnau - Germany (Schwarzwald)
Toboggan like roller coaster that is 2.9KM down an awesome mountain, overlooking the quaint town of Todtnau, Germany.
Can be ridden either single or doubles, this one Nicola held the Go-Pro3, and I kept the brakes from coming on (full speed ahead!!!)
Cost 80 EURO for 10 tickets (rides) which included the chair lift. If you want to spend about 3 hours, stopping in between for a Bratwurst and coffee, then it certainly makes an enjoyable day! (Theres a few vendors out front of the chairlift selling nice German food, coffee, cakes, etc....)
There is also a BMX bike downhill track that weaves itself through the Rodelbahn (You can see some downhill bikers in my video)
The chairlift video is sped up (takes too long in normal speed) but the actual video footage of the Rodelbahn is real time.
I removed the audio (my wife was screaming like we were going to crash or something!) but I replaced it with a cool tune from Goodwill & Hook n Sling - Take You Higher (Simon Sh:Out Remix) - Nice remix!
