First Snow in Otsu
I promise I'll figure out how to film properly... eventually...
So today marks the first snowfall in the Otsu area, Shiga prefecture. My walk to school was quite interesting considering this is my first time seeing snowfall and all I was thinking was, don't slip and fall, to which I was successful.
Unfortunately the area I live in doesn't expect tremendous amounts of snowfall throughout the winter but we do get some adequate amounts.

Hegi soba from Niigata prefecture -
What makes Hegi soba unique is the noodles that are made only from the unique Japanese seaweed called funori and buckwheat flour, and they have no wheat flour. The noodles have plenty of moisture, so they’re slippery and silky smooth. You’ll fall in love with the unique texture in your mouth.
Another fun way to have their soba noodles is eating with freshly deep fried seasonal veggie tempura and Japanese sake.
Please don’t hesitate to try them and enjoy tasting these magnificent noodles by sucking on them excitedly.
