First Time in Tokyo Disneyland! | Our hotel and trip to the happiest place on Earth (in Japan)!
We take a trip to Tokyo Disneyland in Japan, the happiest place on Earth, for the first time to celebrate Angelina’s Birthday! We spent the whole day at Tokyo Disneyland and went on EVERY SINGLE rollercoaster and ride!! Big Thunder Mountain is still my favourite Disney land rollercoaster/ride but Poohs Hunny Hunt is in my opinion one of the best Tokyo Disneyland attractions. Poohs Hunny Hunt is a must do at Tokyo Disneyland!! I hope you enjoy this Tokyo, Japan Disneyland vlog!!
My thoughts on Disneyland Tokyo…
We actually thought that the daytime Tokyo Disneyland parade was better than the night parade which was the Tokyo Disneyland Electrical Parade Dreamlights. The show was still amazing but the rain seemed to have cut it short so a few of the parade’s attractions were missing. The parades were still amazing however and full of popular Disney characters! With the music and the lights, you could really feel the Disney magic!
Surprisingly, several Tokyo Disneyland restaurants had a few vegetarian options! We had Mickey Mouse themed desserts as well as dinner at East Side Cafe restaurant which had a vegetarian/vegan course option. The food was definitely one of our Tokyo Disney trip highlights!
The Tokyo hotel we stayed at in Urayasu was the Urayasu Brighton Hotel Tokyo Bay. Although not an official Disneyland hotel, is still Disney themed and provides free shuttles to and from Tokyo Disneyland and Disneysea throughout the day!!
Disneyland Tokyo is an amazing place to celebrate your Birthday! Tell any member of the Disney cast that it is your Birthday and they will give you a sticker. Everywhere you go you will get congratulations and it makes the day so much more magical!!

Tokyo DisneySea Tour and Travel Guide - First Time at Disneyland Japan (東京ディズニーシー)
This our Tokyo DisneySea Tour (東京ディズニーシー). DisneySea is a theme park located at the Tokyo Disney Resort in Urayasu, Chiba Prefecture, Japan which literally just outside Tokyo, but it doesn’t feel like you ever quite leave the city. We start our day by walking clock-wise through the Mediterranean Harbor to get fast-pass for the two must-do rides at DisneySea: the Tower of Terror and Toy Story Mania. Toy Story Mania fast pass was already done when we went, which was a bummer.
The DisneySea Park is meant to done at a leisurely pace – there are lots of things to see and experience such as lots of food and many character meets - we meet Marie the Cat, Thumper, Chip & Dale and the Genie.
We then walked through American Waterfront where we saw the SS Columbia ship, a recreation of a 20th-century steam-powered ocean liner. We then visited the recreation of Cape Cod, the home of Duffy the Bear, who is extremely popular at DisneySea, and in Japan in general - like Mickey of Disneyland and Disney World.
We then went to Port Discovery where we visited Aquatopia. Afterward, we walk through the Lost River Delta to Mermaid Lagoon where we go ride on Jumpin' Jellyfish and The Whirlpool – not the most exciting rides, overall, but the Mermaid Lagoon provided a much-needed respite from the heavy Tokyo sun.
The exterior looks like the Palace of King Triton and showcases dreamy seashell-inspired architecture. This port of call is because it’s pretty much all indoors and attempts to recreate the feeling of being underwater. We also attended the Little Mermaid Ariel show but were not to capture on video.
We made our way to Mysterious Island, which is a recreation from Jules Verne’s novel of the same name and is also Captain Nemo's lair. It’s otherwise known as Vulcania Island and was featured on the Disney movie 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea.
Lastly, we went to explore the Arabian Coast, which is an area that recreates an Arabian harbor and combines the universe of Aladdin with the world from the 1001 Arabian Nights. Here we went on the Caravan Carousel, Ava met the Genie and ate some delicious Churros.
PLEASE NOTE: We said Discovery Island in the video, but we meant Port Discovery!

But it's even more fun and rewarding to be able to show them new cultures and live new experiences with them at the same time! Our mission is to inspire other Millennials to travel with kids.
Our 7-year-old daughter, Ava, also has her own YouTube channel. Feel free to check it out right here:

Tokyo Disneyland (?????????? Tokyo Dizunirando?) is a 115-acre (47 ha) theme park at the Tokyo Disney Resort in Urayasu, Chiba, Japan, near Tokyo. Its main gate is directly adjacent to both Maihama Station and Tokyo Disneyland Station. It was the first Disney park to be built outside the United States, and it opened on 15 April 1983. The park was constructed by Walt Disney Imagineering in the same style as Disneyland in California and Magic Kingdom in Florida. It is owned by The Oriental Land Company, which licenses the theme from The Walt Disney Company. The park has seven themed areas: the World Bazaar; the four classic Disney lands: Adventureland, Westernland, Fantasyland and Tomorrowland; and two mini-lands: Critter Country and Mickey's Toontown. Many of the games and rides in these areas mirror those in the original Disneyland as they are based on American Disney films and fantasies. Fantasyland includes Peter Pan's Flight, Snow White's Scary Adventures, Dumbo the Flying Elephant, based on classic Disney films and characters. The park is noted for its extensive open spaces, to accommodate the large crowds that visit the park. A Very Disney Christmas @ Tokyo Disneyland - Urayasu, Chiba
Mention the words 'Tokyo Disneyland' to any of the locals in Japan and will see one of two things. You will be greeted with smiles of glee and euphoria or a frown rooted in hatred. The theme park was constructed in 1983, and it has obviously stood the test of time. Additionally, it continues to be one of the most popular theme parks enjoyed by a large majority of the population. Especially, as it continues to enjoy average attendance rates hovering around 16 million or more people per year.
Situated right next to its sister theme park 'Disney Sea', it is a growing part of the Tokyo Disney Kingdom. It continues to build and develop the dream of fans both young and old, as it expands its reign over the Urayasu district. The Disney Resort district now includes a range of Disney themed hotels and attractions. The area is surrounded by many luxurious accommodation brands. This includes the Hilton, the Sheraton and Hotel Okura. The single monorail loop links all of these hotels too. Less than 20 minutes from Central Tokyo by train to Maihama station (Keiyo line), it is a Disney lover's ultimate home away from home.
