WATCH The Amazing TOMB of Sher Shah Suri (INDIA)
The tomb of Sher Shah Suri is in the Sasaram town of Bihar state, India. The tomb was built in memory of Emperor Sher Shah Suri, a Pathan from Bihar who defeated the Mughal Empire and founded the Suri Empire in northern India. He died in an accidental gunpowder explosion in the fort of Kalinjar on 10th day of Rabi' al-awwal.
His tomb is an example of Indo-Islamic architecture, it was designed by the architect Aliwal Khan and built between 1540 and 1545, this red sandstone mausoleum (122 ft high), which stands in the middle of an artificial lake, which is nearly square, is known as the second Taj Mahal of India. The tomb stands at the centre of the lake on a square stone plinth with domed kiosks, chhatris at each of its corners, further there are stone banks and stepped moorings on all sides of the plinth, which is connected to the mainland through a wide stone bridge. The main tomb is built on octagonal plan, topped by a dome, 22-metre in span and surrounded ornamental domed kiosks which were once covered in coloured glazed tile work.
The tomb was built during the reign of his son Islam Shah. An inscription dates its completion to August 16, 1545, three months after the death of Sher Shah.

Indian emperor who fears Humayun 15 years out of India.
Yes, today we are going to talk about King Sher Shah Suri who ruled over Hindustan. Sher Shah Suri was the founder of Sur Dynasty in Hindustan. Born in #Sasaram of Bihar in 1486, the name of Sher Shah was originally named #FareedKhan. At the age of only 15, Sher Shah Suri left the house and turned towards Jaunpur. There he received knowledge of Arabic and Persian languages.
There was tremendous administrative ability inside Sher Shah Suri, due to which his father Hasan Khan Sur made his vassal but the ambitious Sher Shah Suri floor was somewhere else.
At the same time a lion attacked Mughal governor BaharKhan of Bihar. Afghani youngest Fareed Khan alias Sher Shah killed the lion with his sword, after which he got a new name Sher Shah. Bahar Khan, along with the bravery of Sher Shah, considered his intelligence as iron too. There was a time when there was confusion between Sher Shah and Bahar Khan. Now be with Sher Shah Babar.
Babar handed over the command of Bihar to Sher Shah. After this Sher Shah started to increase his strength. They started preparing their army. After 1538, the Sher Shah is getting stronger. Babur was dead. #Humayun became the new king
When Humayun was going towards Bengal, Sher Shah started preparations to confront him. The Chausa near Buxar was fought in 1539 between the two. Humayun could not stand before Sher Shah's bravery. In 1540, there was again a war between Sher Shah and Humayun. Here also the victory of the Sher Shah. After this, establish the Sur dynasty in Sher Shah from Delhi. One by one, he also possessed Malwa, Multan, Mewar, Sindh, Marwar and Mewar. The fear of Sher Shah seemed to be in Humayun's mind that he remained out of India for 15 years.
After the death of Sher Shah Suri, Humayun gave him the title of Ustad A. Badshah i.e. the master of emperors.

Sher Shah Suri sasaram Ka makbara story in Hindi.
Sher Shah Suri or Sher Khan was the founder of the Sur dynasty in India. He was born in 1486 and is the son of Mian Hassan Khan Suri of Sasaram, Rohtas District in Bihar. His father was a breeder of horse and also a prominent figure of Bahlul Khan Lodi. His original name was Farid Khan. The Grandfather of Suri was Ibrahim Khan Suri who was a landlord of Narnaul area. He was married with Rani Shah and had a son Islam Shah Suri. His marriage helped him for consolidating his powers as a powerful ruler. Even more, it also gave him the possession of the Fort of Chunar. When he was 15 years old, he left home and went to Jaunpur. He studied Arabic and Persian there. Since his father was appointed to deal with his fears, he has very good management skills. But for some reason, he left in 1522 and joined the service of the Mughal Emperor Babar. He joined the service of the Governor of Bihar, Bahar Khan.
He accepted the name of Sher Khan by Baja Khan because he killed the courage and courage of the tiger alone. Later, Bahar Khan appointed him as the deputy governor and mentor of his son Jalal Khan. He joined Barbour's service again, but returned as a minor as Jalal Khan. Therefore, Sher Khan became the ruler of Bihar. In 1531 he confirmed his independence from the rulers of the Mughal dynasty Humayun. He fought many times with him. He first captured Gaur in Bengal and eventually won the throne of Delhi. After the Battle of Kannauj in 1540, he continued to expand his empire. He is a brave soldier and military genius in West Bengal. In the battle of Mevat, he made a bunker using sandbags.
He is a very talented administrator who is remembered for the rules and reforms he introduced. His government is very effective. But he very strictly divided his kingdom into a province called Sakars. These subdivisions are Parganas and are divided into subunits. Again, he is considered to be the first to introduce Rupaiya and paisa instead of Tanka. He even introduced the responsibilities that are being followed even today.
He built a small hotel, a mosque, and placed the most famous road network, a Grand Trunk Road. In addition, he has a clear architectural style, which can be seen in the Rohtas Fort built by him. He was a secular ruler who has always practised welfare and intolerance.
He also continued to manage and carry out military activities. He besieged Kalinjar's mighty fortress in Bundelkhand, where he died of a gunpowder explosion in 1545 due to an accidental explosion, although he ruled India for just five year but the changes he made have affected people's lives. He is considered to be the most successful ruler of medieval India. As a capable general, SA Rashid believes that the complete officer as the ruler makes Sher Shah stand above the shoulders of other rulers. He was the greatest personality so his enemy were greatest. His death is called him Ustad-I-Badshahan, the king's teacher. Sher Shah Suri inherited his son Jalal Khan, and later his name was Islam Shah. His son built a beautiful Sher Shah Suri tomb in Sasaram, Bihar in his memory. It is also known as “Sher Shah Suri Ka Maqbara” This tomb is an example of Indo-Islamic architecture. This tomb has been designed by Mir Muhammad Aliwal Khan architect and it was build between 1540 and 1545. This tomb stands in the middle of an artificial lake which is also known as the Second Taj Mahal of India.

Giving as his reference the Muntakhab-e Tarikh-e Nasiri one of the great men of Ghazni during the reign of Sultan Muizzuddin Mohammad Saam (c. 600 H./1203 A.D.) who had summarized the bulky volumes of Tarikh-e Baihaqi—this insightful historian regards Sur and Saam as two brothers of the lengendery Zahak. Sur, the elder brother, was in charage of the emirate of Ghor, while the younger brother, Saam, was the commander-in-chief of the army and their descendants were the emirs of Ghor in Mandesh, centuries before Islam. Famous sher shah suri tomb at sasaram
सलीम शाह मक़बरा सासाराम | History of Shershah | Salim Shah Suri tomb
This video is about Salim Shah Suri Tomb Sasaram.
#salimshahsuri #shershah #tomb
This tomb is middle of Sasaram City in Takiya Mohalla.
Islam Shah, son and successor to Sher Shah Suri, planned a tomb of considerable size which dates to around 1550. However it was never completed due to his premature death soon after and subsequent civil war in the Suri territories. Like that of Sher Shah Sur, the unfinished tomb was designed to be surrounded by water and its construction was begun on an artificial island in a tank.
Currently this tomb is in desolation. However, the concept of this building was for it to float on the lake, like the tomb of his father Sher Shar. It is assumed that the tomb, built on a low basement, was great in size, however, it seems that the construction was abandoned in mid-course. Currently, only an arch-shaped entrance and a small part of the walls remain. I feel this fragile arch may symbolize the life of the fourth ruler of the Sur Dynasty who lost supremacy in Delhi and became the protagonist in the story of the fall of the Afghan power.
