Tomball pickle man: The story behind the mysterious statue | HTX+ TOMBALL
If you drive down Main Street in downtown Tomball, you can't miss it.
In the 1990's, the statue's owners leased the property to an Italian restaurant, who built the statue to advertise fried pickles. Also, you'll never guess what one business owner wanted to change the statue to.

There are many reasons a client may want to sell or liquidate Real Estate quickly. Everyone always thinks it's an ugly situation that causes a want for a quick sale of a House or Home. What are some of the good reasons? Purchasing of a new home that is contingent on the selling of the existing home, can cause the owner to sell quickly at discount. Great job transfer to another city, state or country, is another reason an owner would want to sell quickly. House needs repairs and the owner just wants to sell As Is and not mess with anything. The reasons are endless
We also buy houses in Ugly situations - Bad renter, Estate sale, Get an offer to stop a foreclosure and then sell the home in a Short Sale situation, Fire Damage home, behind on payments, storm damage. Rehab gone bad - Purchased the home for too much and had to do a sub standard rehab job. Need to sell a home you fixed up to get your money back.

Tomball TX-Cooling & Heating-HVAC-Licensed Contractor-Replacement-Trane
Full list of Video Credit see here .
Trane brings variable speed technology to the next level, with systems that intuitively adjust to changing heating and cooling needs. Our air conditioners work only as hard as they have to - at more efficient, quieter speeds. Our long lasting systems create the best air possible for your home. Whether you need a new air conditioner, heat pump or furnace, a Trane system can help you take control of your home's indoor temperature. Trane Modulating Furnace provides optimum heat faster than time- or history-based modulation. Set the temperature, and let the Trane keep it right where you want it. Compared to a conventional furnace, the Trane modulating furnace is more adaptable to changing conditions in your home. Trane has more than 120 years of experience in the business. We don't just build our products – we own patents on them. It’s that kind of reliability that’s earned us America’s Most Trusted HVAC System*, three years in a row by Lifestory Research. We offer a broad range of energy-efficient heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) systems; dehumidifying and air cleaning products; service and parts support; advanced building controls and financing solutions. Large commercial systems designed, manufactured and maintained by Trane provide the heating, ventilation and air conditioning for prominent buildings on every continent. We custom design solutions for each building and our substantial services business gives us the resources to partner with each customer for the life of a building. You can find Trane systems working behind the scenes to provide a comfortable environment for office workers in Beijing's World Trade Center complex, audiences at Milan's famous La Scala opera house, baseball fans in Toronto's Skydome and even tourists visiting the Washington Monument. HVAC (stands for Heating, Vventilation and Air Cconditioning) equipment needs a control system to regulate the operation of a heating and/or air conditioning system. Usually a sensing device is used to compare the actual state (e.g. temperature) with a target state. Then the control system draws a conclusion what action has to be taken (e.g. start the blower). Tomball’s German heritage and the role the railroad played in its history are as apparent today as ever. Get a first-hand look at Tomball’s early history by visiting the Tomball Museum Center, a collection of historic 19th-century homes, churches, and buildings. Then head downtown to see the train memorabilia, art, antiques, and even a model railroad at the Tomball Depot. Much like it always has been, the Depot is also the epicenter of goings-on in Tomball. Events like the Tomball German Heritage Festival and city signature festivals like the Tomball Bluegrass Festival, and the Rails & Tails Mudbug Festival are based at the Depot, giving you even more reasons to stop by while you’re here.

Union Pacific 4141: President George H. W. Bush Funeral Train
Video is courtesy of my good buddy Daniel.
Union Pacific 4141 is an EMD SD70ACe locomotive owned by Union Pacific, commissioned in 2005 in honor of George H. W. Bush, the 41st President of the United States. Its paint scheme is based on that of Air Force One, with lettering reading George Bush 41 painted on the sides in honor of the George Bush Presidential Library and President Bush. President George H. W. Bush died on November 30, 2018. This train was put together to commemorate the death of President George Bush. This train traveled throughout Texas and arrived at College Station/Texas A&M University.
I hope you enjoyed the video. Please consider leaving a like and subscribing. Enjoy!

Houston | Bike from Midtown to Project Row House
Where to bike in Houston if you live around Midtown and want to go to Project Row House.
Project Row Houses is a development in the Third Ward area of Houston, Texas. Project Row Houses includes a group of shotgun houses restored in the 1990s. Eight houses serve as studios for visiting artists. Those houses are art studios for art related to African-American themes. A row behind the art studio houses single mothers.
Houston (Listeni/ˈhjuːstən/ hyoo-stən) is the most populous city in Texas and the fourth-most populous city in the United States, located in Southeast Texas near the Gulf of Mexico. With a census-estimated 2014 population of 2.239 million within an area of 667 square miles (1,730 km2),it also is the largest city in the Southern United States,[7] as well as the seat of Harris County. It is the principal city of Houston–The Woodlands–Sugar Land, which is the fifth-most populated metropolitan area in the United States of America.
Houston was founded on August 28, 1836, near the banks of Buffalo Bayou (now known as Allen's Landing) and incorporated as a city on June 5, 1837. The city was named after former General Sam Houston, who was president of the Republic of Texas and had commanded and won at the Battle of San Jacinto 25 miles (40 km) east of where the city was established. The burgeoning port and railroad industry, combined with oil discovery in 1901, has induced continual surges in the city's population. In the mid-20th century, Houston became the home of the Texas Medical Center—the world's largest concentration of healthcare and research institutions—and NASA's Johnson Space Center, where the Mission Control Center is located.
Houston's economy has a broad industrial base in energy, manufacturing, aeronautics, and transportation. It is also leading in health care sectors and building oilfield equipment; only New York City is home to more Fortune 500 headquarters within its city limits. The Port of Houston ranks first in the United States in international waterborne tonnage handled and second in total cargo tonnage handled.Nicknamed the Space City, Houston is a global city, with strengths in business, international trade, entertainment, culture, media, fashion, science, sports, technology, education, medicine, and research. The city has a population from various ethnic and religious backgrounds and a large and growing international community. Houston is the most diverse city in Texas and has been described as the most diverse in the United States. It is home to many cultural institutions and exhibits, which attract more than 7 million visitors a year to the Museum District. Houston has an active visual and performing arts scene in the Theater District and offers year-round resident companies in all major performing arts.
