人がいない時間を狙って早起きして撮影に行ったものの、第三砲台跡が暗すぎてあまりにもビビっていたところ、一緒に中を探索してくださったおじいさん。
女子が一人で無人島キャンプに行ったと話題にしてくださった地元のタクシー会社さん。
色々な人に助けられて無事動画をあげることが出来たことを感謝致します。

Today, I went on my first summer trip in 2017 to TOMOGASHIMA.
A ruined island in the Wakayama prefecture, Japan. The island is covered with ruined war-time stuffs and natural sceneries. Stunning sea view and hiking treks are perfect for nature lovers.

歩きなれた靴でおこしください。
廃墟、砲台跡を見学される時は　懐中電灯（第3砲台跡の通路用）をお持ちになるといいと思います。
　
第4砲台跡では長靴あったら奥まで行けたのにと思いました。

おにぎり・お茶も持っていかれることをお勧めします。尚ゴミは必ず持ち帰ることになっ­ています。
トイレットペーパーは常備してくださってます。バイアニクストイレは汚水ではない茶色­の水が流れます。

●加太のおみやげは　小嶋商店（船着き場近く）よもぎ餅・磯賀屋海苔（船着き場近く）などが昔からの有名で­す。
（少し離れていますが淡島海苔もおいしいです。）

●お食事は淡島神社の満幸商店（船着き場近く）のしらす丼（大）が大盛りすぎて　盛り上がります。

●鯛で有名な加太漁港（船着き場近く）の昼市は毎月第1土曜日（１月は休み）、11時­から12時30分です。

●お風呂は夕日がきれいな国民宿舎（定休日 毎週水曜日大人600円）が　おみやげも買えていいのですが　
利用時間が 11：30～15：00（最終受付14：30）と早いので　ひいなの湯（船着き場近く）もお勧めです。

●帰り道　森林公園の恐竜もお子様にうけます。

-WAKAYAMA- Miyama ruins coast-battery [4K] 深山砲台跡を散策

This is a part of the Yura Fortress built in the Meiji era and was responsible for defending Osaka Bay.
There is munitions depot in the basement between the turrets.
Of course, there is no ammunition.
There is an observatory in the back and you can see the Kii Channel and see Tomogashima.
It was raining on this day.
It is the rain sound that hits an umbrella that sounds like noise.
Since it is binaural recording, please listen with headphones.

和歌山県加太の無人島「友ヶ島」に行ってきました。
明治時代に造られた要塞施設は、まるで「天空の城ラピュタ」の世界。
GW中ともあって、定期船のチケットはお昼までにほぼ完売でした。
赤レンガの建物と自然が調和したとても綺麗な島でした。

I went to uninhabited Tomogashima Island in Kada Wakayama Japan.The fortress built in 19th century looks like Castle in the Sky which is a Japanese animation.
Because of the busy season, the ticket of ship was almost sold out by noon.
It was the very beautiful island where the red brick buildings harmonized with nature.

Tomogashima is an uninhabited island less than 2 hours away from Kansai airport. It has ruins of gun batteries on the island that was constructed in 1890 that you can walk thru, some deer and kites (of the bird variety), and of course lots of sea. There is one place to stay and/or eat if you wish:

or you can do like we did, and bring your own tent and stay in the campground. We went on August 1st, and came back the next day.

I can't believe it took me this long to upload this! Husband and I went to Wakayama for Golden Week holiday, IN MAY!! It was so beautiful and peaceful.

ラピュタの島で有名な友ヶ島へ行ってまりりました。関東の猿島とはジャングル感という点で異なっているように感じました。
Twenty minutes by ferry from Kada, Tomogashima is a small group of islands off the coast of Wakayama. You can hike, picnic and camp on Okinoshima, the main island, where the main draw is the ruins of an abandoned military fort. The dilapidated red brick structures and overgrown vegetation give the island an uncanny resemblance to Laputa, the floating island in the Studio Ghibli movie Castle in the Sky.
