Tonle Bati Resort at Takeo Province in Cambodia
Tonle Bati Resort is the most tourist attraction and tourist destination on the weekend in Cambodia. It's a beautiful place with a big lake with lots of freshwater fishes and foods in the water which people living by this lake can take the benefit them this lake like catching fishes, use water for their plantation or paddy fields. There are many wooden & bamboo cottage on this lake for all tourists to rest at day time and eat foods. I went there on Sunday of September 2015, the price for cottage is 10,000 riel. It's located at Bati district, Takeo Province about 30 Kilometer south of Phnom Penh City of Cambodia.

Tonle Bati (Khmer: ទន្លេបាទី) is a small lake about 30 km south of Phnom Penh, the capital of Cambodia. It is a popular weekend destination for the local population. It is also a popular fishing spot for both tourists and people who live locally.
Close to the lake, there is the Ta Prohm of Bati, one of several shelters built in Cambodia and Thailand during the reign of Jayavarman VII to house the Jayabuddhamahanatha statues.[1]:175–176 It is located off the highway to Takeo.
20 minutes south of the lake there is another temple called Phnom Chisor (Khmer: ភ្នំជីសូរ). It is situated on a mountain top which requires a visitor to climb 461 steps. source from wikipedia.

We spent a day at Tonle Bati Resort at Tonle Bati district, Taekeo Province in Cambodia. It was great and relaxing with our family. They have bamboo and wooden cottage on the lake for tourists to sit on, eating foods, and relaxing. There foods seller bringing foods to us and ask if we want to buy and some sellers selling foods on their boat on the lake going back and forth, hoping that people will buy their foods for lunch or snack foods. Tonle Bati Resort is a great place for holiday or weekend tourist destination when it's not so far from Phnom Penh city. It's about 30 kilometers south of the city, so we can travel there by Motorcycle or TukTuk or car. We get back to Phnom Penh city at around 3pm. It was a great holiday and relaxing time at Tonle Bati Resort in Cambodia.

Thinking about the best resort with great foods, thinking about Tonle Bati Resort at Bati District, Takeo Province. It's just about 30 Kilometer from Phnom Penh city of Cambodia. You can ask TukTuk or Taxi on Tonle Bati Resort as you can travel for about 50 minutes from Phnom Penh city. The foods there are great especially Chicken Fry, Crab and Snail fry. Grilled Stuffed frogs, Grilled fishes, pickled papaya, pickled cucumber and many more regional Khmer Foods at Tonle Bati Resort at Takeo Province in Cambodia. Tonle Bati Lake and Temple - Phnom Penh Cambodia Travel

Lake Tonle Bati is located 30 km to the south of Phnom Phen, an Angkorian temple close to the lake is called Ta Prohm. Was built about 1200 by Angkor's famous king Jayavarman VII. That Mahayana Buddhist period in Cambodia's history of art is called Bayon style.
Tonle Bati Resort - Takeo Province - Cambodia
Starting our day on a Tuktuk traveling along National Road 2 to Tonle Bati Resort at Bati district, Takeo Province in Cambodia. It was fun to travel by TukTuk as we can see the great view along the road, lifestyle of people, we need a mask to cover our mouth and nose as it's dusty from Prek Russey bridge of Takhmao town to a roundabout of 3 roads (to Chamka Doung, to National Road 3, to National road 2). We are on National road 2 to Bati district. Tonle Bati Resort is a great place for weekend gathering, a tourist attraction and destination. We can go sightseeing all the cottages on the lake, eating great foods, take a small boat on the lake and relaxing. It's about 30 kilometers from the Phnom Penh city in Cambodia. They have many kind of street food selling and not expensive for all tourists to buy and try.

Tonle Bati Resort is the most weekend tourist destination and attraction as it's close to the Phnom Penh city (about 30 kilometers south of the city), beautiful places, cottages on the lake, great foods and great environment. The foods there are great as they have fry chickens, grilled stuffed frogs, grilled fishes, pickled cucumbers and other pickled veggie, palm fruits, fresh organic vegetable and many many more to select from. I went there on Sunday with my family and we really enjoyed the resort and the foods.

The last exploration of my second day in Cambodia was the Ta Prom Khmer Temple in Tonle Bati. It was built in the 12th century during Jayavarman VII and is dedicated to Brahmanism and Buddhism. Next you have a few pictures of the Princess Hotel, my vacation in Phnom Penh for two nights (

Family Trip to Tonle Bati Resort
Tonle Bati is one of the most tourist attraction and tourist destination on the weekend as it's just about 32km. south of Phnom Penh city which we can travel by motorcycle or car. There're hundred of wooden & bamboo shacks/kiosks on the Tonle Bati river beach where tourist can sit, relax, and enjoy the beautiful nature and getting fresh air from the river. We can ride a boat sightseeing Tonle bati river. There's a food market where we can go buy any foods we like to eat and cheaper than ordering foods from the kiosks we sit. The organic chicken price range from 30000riel (USD7.50) to 35000riel (USD8.75). Agricultural chicken price is from 18000riel (USD4.50) to 20000riel (USD5). We can rent the kiosk for 10000riel (USD2.50) and buy foods from the market to save some money or we order foods from the kiosk owner, they won't charge the price of kiosk we sit. It was fun with my wife and son and really had a good time. I flew my drone capturing Tonle Bati resort from the sky as you will find the view from the top in this video.

Lunch Time at Tonle Bati Resort in Cambodia
It was relaxing and feel good when we get to Tonle Bati Resort at Takeo Province in Cambodia. It's just about 30 kilometers south of the Phnom Penh city on National Road 2. We ordered the foods there to eat and relax on a bamboo cottage on the lake enjoyed the foods serving. We had the grilled chicken, grilled fish in aluminum foil packet, and fish soup. These 3 foods for 3 big men and 2 kids are more than enough. We enjoyed the food and rest after that watching people rowing the boat bringing people around for fun and some boats selling some foods and snack. The wind blowing in sometime made us feel good and relaxing.
