Tooloom Falls Campground is a free bush site very close to Urbenville. There are long-drop toilets. Wood BBQ's and areas for fires however you must bring your own firewood. Great waterfall as well.

2 Day camping trip away....fantastic place to unwind and relax.
We were very lucky to get a great camp spot on the river..very quiet relaxing place ...with only a few other campers nearby.

We thought this was a nice little spot. Camp grounds at the top of the falls. Beautiful but I would not stay with toddlers. A fair bit of water around would be a nice place for a swim on a hot day. We were told by other campers there are a some local platypus here.
The drive had some really beautiful scenery . Our favorite part this narrow little road through the forest. The mountain ranges in the area are just amazing. I couldn't help myself but to take a few pictures of this gorgeous little cottage and wonder what history this tiny has. I need a new camera asap and I'm really looking forward to developing my photography skills along the way.

Recently we camped at Levuka 4WD Park and heard about nearby Tooloom Falls so had to check it out for ourselves. Located near Urbenville, NSW it's about two and half hours from Brisbane. There's a free camp at the very top of the falls which seemed very popular on our visit. It's easy to understand why when you can hear the rush of the water and see the water plunging over the falls from nearest campsites!

Tooloom falls and free camp sites
Near Urbanville in New South Wales, Australia you will find a free camping ground next to the Tooloom Falls. At the bottom of the falls is an impressive rock pool. This is a site of historical and spiritual significance to the local Aboriginal people. A beautiful and special place. We visited on 27 January 2018 during the Australia Day long weekend, so it was quite busy. No electricity. No drinking water. No showers. Just a long drop toilet. No Charge.

Beautiful twin falls at this majestic free bush camp site for all people is in northern NSW. Tooloom Falls, or more correctly known as Bandahngan Aboriginal Area, also boasts a welcoming natural setting, bbq areas, tables and a toilet. Tooloom Falls, Urbenville, is a stunning bush camp perched above the falls on the banks of Tooloom creek. This site is easy to access for both campers and caravaners, and is a great place for swimming and canoeing. Swimming is good at both the top and bottom of the falls, where as canoeing is probably best at the top of the falls.
Access to the bottom of the falls is a short and easy decent. The best thing about this site apart from its beauty is that it is FREE. This is truly bush camping for both campers and caravaners at it's finest.

Urbenville Forest Park is just on the northern side of this small town. Most shopping necessities can be found in town.

Most chillaxing camping we've done so far. Met a few great people and one particularly special one. We did not have to hike so far to have a feel of this falls. It is right beside our camp, thus hearing it all day seems like a pleasure. There was no phone reception which left our love ones worried. Oops.. Hope you enjoy the video :)
