Toora Wind Farm Turbines
Toora wind farm is a wind power station at Toora in South Gippsland, Victoria, Australia. It is located north of Wilsons Promontory and 150 km SE of Melbourne and is not far from Agnes Falls.
Toora has 12 massive wind turbines that tower over and become part of the landscape.
Toora & Corner Inlet, Victoria
Toora = small town not far from Wilsons Promontory, Victoria. Pretty sleepy place, got some accommodation and you can get supplies here (food, fuel etc). Only 11km from Agnes Falls.
Got a couple of parks to have a roadside rest stop if necessary - Franklin Reserve just to the west of town and Railway Park in town near the pub.
Corner Inlet - shallow bay area. Some wetlands here got RAMSAR status in 1982. There is a bird hide if that is your thing. Also a wind farm to check out.

Toora is a small, historic township situated between Foster and Welshpool. Nestled in the hills above town are 13 wind turbines and Victoria's highest single-span waterfall, Agnes Falls. Toora offers visitors breathtaking views of Wilsons Promontory National Park, the view from the lookout at Silcocks Hill Road is particularly impressive.

Agnes Falls Scenic Reserve is situated 196km southeast of Melbourne. Agnes Falls is reached from the South Gippsland Highway at Toora by following Silcocks Hill Road. Alternatively the reserve can be reached from Welshpool via Slade Hill Road and Hazel Park Road.
At 59 metres, Agnes Falls are the highest single span falls in Victoria.

Wind turbine in Hastings, Victoria, Australia
Privately owned wind turbine of the Kings Creek Hotel at Australia's only hotel partially powered with its own wind turbine. At the time of the video it was making this noise. Not sure if it was a normal noise or if there is a malfunction. Tower height 24m, blade diameter 9m, power output is 95 kW. My reference: P1030553.MP4 Video taken 17th July, 2014.

Agnes Falls, Toora, South Gippsland - 8 July 2016
Agnes Falls Scenic Reserve, is located in South Gippsland around a 15 minute drive from the township of Toora or one hour from Wilsons Promontory. Agnes Falls is a spectacular waterfall that cascades over a series of rocks over a 59 metre drop.
Gippsland experienced a deluge of rain overnight on the 5 July 2016, causing major flooding.
Agnes Falls is a fantastic sight, especially after periods of heavy rain when the falls and surrounding rockpools are at their best. The sound of the water was incredible and the water spray exhilarating!
I would like to acknoweldge Kitty, Daisy and Lewis's version of 'Going up the Country' that I used as the music soundtrack on this video
