TOORJI JHALRA ONE OF THE MOST STEPWELL, JODHPUR
About this video .
The wonderful example of water harvesting is the flagrant of Jodhpur, it is its large history
Jodhpur Old traditional sources of water in the city have the status of unconditional heritage. These reservoirs have been unique examples of water harvesting and water management. Over time, the importance of these reservoirs has been forgotten. Today, when the level of water in Kaolana-Takhatsagar is reduced and the city's water supply system is cremated, it is usually the reminder of these reservoirs that our ancestors inherited. The tradition of making the reservoir played by the queen goes through the narrow streets and narrow streets, here. This is Makrana Mohalla. Area surrounded by Heritage Guest Houses around. Surely a flirt does not want to be seen here. That is the tambourine of Tuur ji The women of the royal family had built this skillet while maintaining the old tradition of building a public reservoir. Nowadays this flirtation is the center of attraction among people. Indigenous foreign tourists are overwhelmed by its water system and artistry. It will be a coincidence that today this reservoir is a matter of discussion in the salonies.
Anecdote
According to the history, Maharani Tanwar (Taur Rani) of Maharaja Abhay Singh of Jodhpur had made floral shrub in 1740, due to which his name was fluttering of Taruji. The use of skimmed water was mainly used by women. Because it was the work of women to carry water and to collect. This skull is immersed in deep water for decades. Renovated 200 feet deep untouched heritage has emerged. This is made by carving the Ghatu red stone of Jodhpur. The charming dance elephants have fine breathtaking carvings, water medieval lions and cows are the main source faucet.
Unmatched Sample of Engineering Marvel
One of the best work done in Jodhpur during the reign of King Maharaj was that the wall city area was decorated with water bodies. Ranisar, Padamasar, Naavar ji's Baawdi, Ture ji Jhalra, Gulabsagar and Fatehsagar are very important functions of the princely state. They should not only consider water sources. These engineering marvels are. Through them every drop of rain was connected. Towns are also excellent examples of this. They can be recycled again.

Boys Jump Into Step-Well - Slow Motion Footage - Nizamuddin Baoli | India
Young boys jumps into the water of step-well captured in slow motion at the Nizamuddin Baoli near the dargah (shrine) of Hazrat Nizamuddin Auliya.
This baoli was constructed over 800 years ago by Hazrat Nizamuddin Auliya himself. It is over 160 feet deep, surrounded by typical 14th century architecture, and even small storeyed houses. The dargah that surrounds it adds to its charm, with a stunning silver carved door and other intricate details.
Three sides of the baoli are surrounded by walls and one side has a flight of stairs leading to the water. The water is considered to possess healing powers and is hence, believed to be sacred. The site has gone under major restoration work to look like it does today. Some new construction is also taking place as balconies are being added so that you get a clear view of the baoli and not just get pushed around by the dargah’s crowd. During the rainy season, there is enough water in the baoli to hide most or its entire stairs while the summers reduce the water level as the temperature rises.

Dogs of India : fishing the old way ;) Jodhpur
At Toorji ka Jhalra bavdi, Jodhpur. We were sitting and appreciating the architecture of this old stepwell, when this street dog jumps into the water and catches the dead fish. The dog contemplated for a while, and off he jumped. There were other fishes too inside, who were alive. This one was dead, and not so stale I'm assuming, looking at the way doggo hogged on it. I happened to switch on my phone camera quite on time, though i wish i had the jump too. But nevertheless quite a moment here too. ;)
