???? Toowong cemetery ????
Toowong Cemetery is a heritage-listed cemetery on the corner of Frederick Street and Mt Coot-tha Road, Toowong, City of Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. It was established in 1866 and formally opened in 1875. It is Queensland's largest cemetery and is located on forty-four hectares of land at the corner of Frederick Street and Mount Coot-tha Road approximately four and a half kilometres west of Brisbane. It was previously known as Brisbane General Cemetery. It was added to the Queensland Heritage Register on 31 December 2002.
Although still used as a cemetery, it is a popular place for joggers and dog walkers, with its over-hanging fig trees and winding pathways. The Friends of Toowong Cemetery conduct tours through the cemetery as well as providing a series of self-guided themed walks through the cemetery. Guided ghost tours are conducted through the grounds of the cemetery on Friday and Saturday nights.
The fear of being followed and the feeling of not being welcomed. We hear things and smelt stuff. A very clear EVP was picked up can you tell what it says? Leave a comment to what you think it says.
The traditional tale is that the graves of two young sisters killed in a car accident lie at the top of `spook hill' and if you sit in the car and put it into neutral the car will defy gravity and roll forwards up the hill

Toowong Cemetry
One of the ABC’s most popular programmes at the time was Weekend Magazine, which aired just after the 7 O’Clock News on Sunday night. I had the brilliant idea that a segment on Toowong
Cemetery would make an interesting item for the programme, but many of my colleagues disagreed.
‘How can you make an interesting movie about a load of old tombstones?’ was the typical reaction to my suggestion. But I persevered and enlisted the aid of fledgling reporter, Debbie Fleming, who was as enthusiastic about the project as I was. With her support, news editor Graham Irvine gave his cautious approval, and the camera eventually rolled at dawn a few days later, capturing a stunning image of a stone angel contemplating the city skyline while silhouetted against a spectacular sunrise.
It was a beautiful little piece, even if I say so myself. Haunting images, tastefully chosen music, clever scripting and brilliant editing made the item a roaring success. Rex Clayton, the programme’s
executive producer, even issued a memo hailing it as ‘one of the most outstanding items ever shown on Weekend Magazine’. This certainly shut up the critics and considerably enhanced the reputations of the crew responsible for the production, especially Debbie, who went on to eventually become executive producer of one of the ABC’s most successful programs — Australian Story.

Midnight at Toowong.
Hey,
This is pretty much just a slide show of me and my mates at Toowong Cemetery Brisbane late one night.
We go their quite often and have never REALLY had anything spooky happen.
We have had varies, episodes, but nothing worth telling yous about.
We do respect the place and we do know it's a place of rest.
We have never done anything to harm or disrespect any of the graves.
The only reason we go is because we love the feel of the place.
Hope you like it.
