WE HAVE CROSSED THE BORDER! You guys, we are in beautiful Katherine in the Nothern Territory visiting the Katherine Hotsprings!

YOU GUYS, we did it!
We have made it to the Nothern Territory which marks the end of our Western Australia Road Trip series!
Our first stop in the Nothern Territory is beautiful Katherine and the gorgeous Katherine hot springs! These hot springs are located near the Low Level Caravan Park in Katherine and are WELL WORTH a visit, even just to wash away dusty Western Australia!
After our visit to the Katherine Hot Springs, we make it to Darwin and move into our new life in sunny Girraween, about 20 minutes from Darwin city center.
We hope you loved this Western Australia Road Trip series and we are so very grateful for all your support, likes, comments and subscribes!

Swimming the NT Hot Springs: S04 Northern Territory E04 Road Trip Lap NT
The northern territory is full of hot springs and natural cool springs, many of them suitable swimming holes. We headed in to Mataranka, visiting the Mataranka Hot Springs, Bitter Springs, Little Roper Stock Camp and the Nathan Whippy Griggs whip show at the Mataranka Homestead. We also called in to Katherine Hot Springs, walked Katherine Gorge and visited the Alice Springs School of the Air.

Paradise on earth? Crystal clear water? Exotic surrounding? You'll find all of this at Katherine hot springs, in the Northern Territory town of Katherine, Australia.
Along Riverbank Drive on the Katherine River, Katherine Hot Springs provide swimming, shaded picnic tables and barbecue facilities set amongst monsoon forest and tall paperpark trees where you can sit back and relax or enjoy the abundant birds and wildlife. - The water from the spring flows into numerous natural pools joining into Katherine river eventually.
The water has a delightful 30° Celcius (86 °F) and invites everybody to swim, dive or just enjoy the flowing water.
There is an abundant underwater life too and green underwater plants are moving in the soft current of the creek.

Take a refreshing dip in Katherine Hot Springs.
These natural thermal springs are situated on the banks of the Katherine River, within the Katherine township, and comprise of a series of clear pools framed by native vegetation.
Once, the main pool was simply an indentation at the edge of the Katherine River, but now the area is a place to relax, enjoy swimming in the pools, the picnic grounds and scenic walking tracks.

Katherine Gorge, Nitmiluk National Park is located in the Top End of the Northern Territory, Australia approximately 250 km South west of Darwin. The gorges and surrounding landscape have great significance to the local Jawoyn people, who are custodians of the the Nitmiluk National Park.
This cinematic video was filmed over a number of mornings during a sunrise tour and and from the cliff tops above the gorge. 4K footage was captured principally using the Sony FDR-AX700.

Welcome to The Big Bus tour and travel guide's YouTube channel.
In this video, we head to Nitmiluk National Park in the Northern Territory to join Nitmiluk Tours on their famous Nitmiluk Gorge cruise.
Once known as Katherine Gorge, Nitmiluk Gorge is actually a series of twelve gorges. We visit gorges one and two on our cruise, with a short 400-metre walk in between. Along the way, we learn about the significance of the gorge to the traditional owners — the Jawoyn people — from our local guide.
This is without doubt one of the most spectacular pieces of Australian wilderness. Enjoy!
