Fort Topana situated along the slopes of the Blue Lake, dominates the town. The fort was built in the 10th century and throughout history has had a special strategic significance. The patron of the Imotski region is Our Lady of Angels, a small church is surrounded fortress. The fort was under Turkish rule for over 200 years. Today the fortress is favorite lookout point in summer, it plays host to various cultural events.
