Torbay (Torquay, Brixham and Paignton), South Devon.
Travelogue along the 20 mile stretch of South Devon coast presents attractions of Torquay, Brixham and Paignton as well as some villages along the coast. Each town is presented with the usual travel shots, and to make Torbay more attractive, famous people and various events are presented. In Torquay, where international entertainer Max Bygraves chose to stay, one can watch waiters' race at Hotels Day. Waiters are seen racing with trays along the street.
In Brixham, where composer Lionel Bart stays, firm tradition of Elizabethan age is kept. Vintage cars are exhibited, replica of Golden Hind is anchored in harbour and Brixham's fishing fleet provides excellent food for tourists. Bikini babes and kids playing with sand are seen at Paignton beach.
The 'buzziest' place, after all, is Torquay. Lovely Cockington village for romantics, golf course where one rubs shoulders with celebrities (Val Doonican, Sid James and Arthur Askey on golf course) or mingle through the crowd at Carnival Time.
BRITISH PATHÉ'S STORY
Before television, people came to movie theatres to watch the news. British Pathé was at the forefront of cinematic journalism, blending information with entertainment to popular effect. Over the course of a century, it documented everything from major armed conflicts and seismic political crises to the curious hobbies and eccentric lives of ordinary people. If it happened, British Pathé filmed it.
Now considered to be the finest newsreel archive in the world, British Pathé is a treasure trove of 85,000 films unrivalled in their historical and cultural significance.
British Pathé also represents the Reuters historical collection, which includes more than 136,000 items from the news agencies Gaumont Graphic (1910-1932), Empire News Bulletin (1926-1930), British Paramount (1931-1957), and Gaumont British (1934-1959), as well as Visnews content from 1957 to the end of 1984. Rainy Trip To Paignton and Torbay | Mini Golf, Arcades and Dancing | Beverley Holidays | May 2017
Join Dom, Kirsty, Mitch and myself for a weekend break to Paignton! Dom very kindly showed us around the site of Beverley Holidays, a wonderful quaint vacation spot for those who enjoy a good caravan holiday in the UK. Then, we set off to the seaside. We visited the arcades as well as played some adventure golf, a real favourite of mine!
Dom had to work in the evening, but kept us entertained while we enjoyed a few beverages. We also joined in playing some ridiculous games on the dance floor, before ending our fun day out!
The next day we visited a mountain on another beach before heading into Torbay, a beautiful little seaside resort where the weather thankfully was on our side.
This video was made as one of my test videos before deciding to start producing weekly videos for this youtube channel. I hope you enjoy it, even if the editing is off a little.

A little video of Our family holiday to Paignton. We visited Paignton zoo, torquay and some other lovely places. We found lots of activities for toddlers and absolutely loved it!

Kitson Park Shiphay Torquay
Named after Major R F Kitson whoes famil has done so much for Torbay and particularly Shiphay , the park was first opened in 1966 and was until recently know as a peaceful and tranquil park for the whole family to enjoy.
Over the last few years the condition of the park has deteriorated , and has now become a magnet for anti social behavior, The helpiing hands gang working with the new Friends of Kitson Park, (a friends group was formed and disbanded a few years back) want to bring back that peacful and tranquil space for everyone to enjoy...
This video show the park in it current state before the friends group start working, watch this space to see the drastic turn- around.

Things To Do In Portsmouth On A Rainy Day | Southsea Beach Cafe And Game Over | September 2017
Join Jeeves, Wayne and myself as we find things to do in Portsmouth on a very rainy day.
It's my birthday weekend and so we decided to start the day with some food at the highly recommended, Southsea Beach Cafe, a personal favourite of mine. We have a look around at the establishment and menu before ordering food, drink and meeting with Jeeves.
We then take an Uber to Game Over in Southsea, a Gaming Cafe where we played on many old school games consoles. We started on Space Invaders and Pac-Man followed by Cars: The Game on PS2 and then finished with Mario Kart on N64 before giving our review of the place.
