Please note: This is Toronto in Australia, not it's somewhat more famous namesake in Canada.
By chance, we turned up at Toronto to be told it was one month before closure.
Our other Hunter plans were cancelled, and the day was spent along this long closed branchline in Newcastle.

Former Blackalls Park Railway Station Remanants (Disused Toronto Line Station)
Not much is left, even the toilet block that was once on the disused platform up until recently has since disappeared. Traces of a former level crossing are seen at the end of the video.

Montréal-Ouest, the 2nd stop from Montreal’s Lucien-L’Allier Terminus on the (former) Canadian Pacific main line. It sees services from lines exo1 Vaudreuil–Hudson, exo2 Saint-Jérôme & exo4 Candiac lines.

0844 hrs: Snow falls as another empty cars service passes, pushed by AMT1328

Australia’s Puffing Billy Railway 2019 – Part 3 – Gembrook to Lakeside
Having traveled on Puffing Billy from Belgrave to Gembrook where we visited the local bakery for a delicious steak and cheese pie, we make our way back to the town station where our train is waiting to take us back to Belgrave. The friendly locomotive crew kindly allowed me attach a couple of small cameras to their locomotive to give a very different view of the line on our return trip. We also take a look at the excellent model railway located close to Lakeside station.
Once again I am grateful to Puffin Pete, Jeff Evans and the locomotive crew for their help in making this video possible.

Thirlmere Heritage Railway Station
Next stop north of Couridjah. Every weekend steam trains depart from this station, right next to Trainworks, NSW Railway Museum run to Buxton and back. The original Main Southern Line used to run along this route, until it was replaced in 1919 with a less steep one (limitations of steam engines, as well as increasing traffic). The present route between Picton and Mittagong now runs past Tahmoor, Bargo and Yerinbool.

Hosier Lane
Hosier Lane is a bluestone cobbled vehicular and pedestrian laneway on the southern edge of the central city grid. Hosier lane is a much celebrated landmark mainly due to its sophisticated Urban art.
Hosier Lane lies opposite the entrance to the Atrium at Federation Square on Flinders St, a prominent position in the city.
The lane has been noted for the quality and the often political nature of its art. It features in the state-sponsored book The Melbourne Design Guide and in Tourism Victoria's Lose Yourself in Melbourne advertising campaign, leading to questions about the dichotomy of Victoria's approach to graffiti. The graffiti-covered walls and art-installations have become a popular backdrop for fashion and wedding photography.
Hosier Lane is also known for its upmarket cocktail lounges including the popular Misty and MoVida. An open air cooking session with MoVida's chef Frank Camorra on Masterchef Australia season 2 showcased the lane as a major Melbourne attraction.

Flinders Street railway station is a railway station on the corner of Flinders and Swanston Streets in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. It serves the entire metropolitan rail network. Backing onto the city reach of the Yarra River in the heart of the city, the complex covers two whole city blocks and extends from Swanston Street to Queen Street.
Flinders Street is served by Metro's suburban services, and V/Line regional services to Gippsland. It is the busiest station on Melbourne's metropolitan network and the busiest railway station in Australia, with over 77,153 daily entries recorded in the 2017/18 fiscal year. It was the first railway station in an Australian city and the world's busiest passenger station in the late 1920s.
The main station building, completed in 1909, is a cultural icon of Melbourne. The art nouveau style building, with its prominent dome, arched entrance, tower and clocks is one of the city's most recognisable landmarks. It is listed on the Victorian Heritage Register. The Melburnian saying I'll meet you under the clocks refers to the row of clocks above the main entrance, which indicate the time-tabled time of departure for trains on each line; another saying, I'll meet you on the steps, refers to the wide staircase underneath these clocks. Flinders Street Station is responsible for two of Melbourne's busiest pedestrian crossings, both across Flinders Street, including one of Melbourne's few pedestrian scrambles.
Listed on the Victorian Heritage Register, the station has Australia's longest platform which is 708-metres long and is also the fourth longest railway platform in the world.

It covers an area of 3.2 ha (7.9 acres) at the intersection of Flinders and Swanston Streets built above busy railway lines and across the road from Flinders Street station. Tren Roundhouse Park 1 Toronto, Canada 06 ABR 2011
First part of two of a ride aboard a tiny real steam train near Union Station of Toronto (Canada) and right down famous Canadian National Tower. The crew of trains belongs to the Toronto Railway Historical Association (trha.ca) and they were very friendly to explain how it works and what kind of restorations they make. I told them that I am a member of the Chilean Association for Conservation of Railway Patrimony (accpf.cl) and then we spoke like classmates. 06.APR.2011
GO, VIA and TTC Streetcars at Long Branch, Toronto, 17.03.12
Articulated streetcar #4234 on route 501-Queen crosses Brown's Line and swings into the Long Branch Loop, as a bus on route #123C lays over. Having picked up passengers, it exits the loop and heads down Lake Shore Blvd. Meanwhile, Mississauga Transit buses have shown up at the loop and dropped off their passengers.
Later, an outbound GO Lakeshore West Line train arrives at the Long Branch station. Car #248 leads the 10-car train, and MP40 #624 pushes.
Next, an eastbound VIA Corridor train with P42DC #902 leading just 4 LRC cars emerges from the lake-induced fog and glides by. The signal being lined on the centre track is for Amtrak's northbound 'Maple Leaf', which I missed seeing, darnit! Only 4 cars and a P42 though :P
And finally, two more streetcars pass each other on the Long Branch Loop, finishing up my visit here.

Riverstone railway station is a heritage-listed railway station at Riverstone Parade,, Riverstone, City of Blacktown, New South Wales, Australia.. It was designed by NSW Government Railways and William Weaver and built from 1883 to 1939.. The station is located on the Richmond line, and is served by Sydney Trains T1 Western and T5 Cumberland line services. The property is owned by RailCorp (State Government).. It was added to the New South Wales State Heritage Register on 2 April 1999..
