Trekking Sarangkot | Pokhara | Nepal（徒步萨朗科 ）
Sarangkot is a former Village Development Committee west of Pokhara in Kaski District Gandaki Zone. In 2015, it was annexed to Pokhara 26. At the time of the 1991 Nepal census it had a total population of 5,060 with 1,010 individual households.[1]
The village is located on Sarangkot mountain at an altitude of 1600m and is renowned for its panoramic Himalayan views Dhaulagiri, Annapurna and Manaslu as well as down on the city of Pokhara and Phewa lake. In recent years, Sarangkot has become a hotspot for paragliding.

If you have never seen an avalanche before, this is the trip for you.
Kahphuche Glacial Lake, about 8-10 hrs away from the beautiful Sikles Village, is Nepal's lowest Glacial lake situated at an altitude of around 2500 metres. On this two part series, we'll explore the culturally rich Gurung village of Sikles, trek one of our most adventurous trails ever, watch numerous avalanches upclose, spend a couple of days in Huwu and get lost in the beauty of Kahphuche Glacial Lake.
This has become one of our best trips so far because of all the fun and wonderful experience along with the company of Maila Dai and Lalit Bhanja and the people of Sikles. The best part, it is fairly a short duration trek. Sikles is only 3-4 hrs from Pokhara, and the lake can be reached aftr 8-10 hrs from Sikles. We could have completed this within 4-5 days although we planned to visit Kori Dada as well but because of heavy snow, we have postponed it for next time.

When we started this trip, Sikles wasn't in our primary focus. But from the day we got to Sikles, and our 3 days stay there, we were mesmerized by this beautiful Gurung village and people.
There were a lot of things we did in Sikles, and felt that it needs a separate video of its own. So, here it is, our take on Sikles Village.

Generally, it's safer to go paragliding in Pokhara than it is to cross a busy intersection in Lakeside. Tandem paragliding jump from the mountains near Pokhara called Sarangkot which is famous for the view of sunrise, sunset, awesome view of Pokhara city and paragliding.
But I did manage to get an awesome view of Pokhara and Phewa Lake from the courtyard.
You can also get an awesome view of Pokhara city from this vantage point. I highly recommend you guys to go paragliding if you guys haven't already!!

A day in Pokhara before my trek | Shopping & Phewa Tal | Nepal Travel Vlog
I spent a day in Pokhara ( Nepal ) before starting with Annapurna Circuit Trek in Annapurna Conservation Area (ACA). Pokhara is a pretty laid back city that hosts a lot of tourists and trekkers from all over the world. These visitors mostly reside in the Phewa Lakeside area. There are various hostels and hotels in Pokhara that one can opt for, especially if you are travelling on a budget. During my short stay, I visited Phewa lake and went shopping in Pokhara's local market. There are various sports equipment shops that sell pretty affordable trekking and adventure sports gear. You can also go check out cafes and restaurants and try paragliding in Pokhara.

The total flight duration mainly depends upon the wind flow and the pilot's maneuvering. There will be an additional advantage if you request the pilot to swing around during mid air.

beautiful journey to Annapurna base camp on 1st week of October,2017. Theres a subtitles coz of my accent may be, well might help. These pictures and video doesn't do justice to what you see with naked eyes. Plus my camera broke on me on second day so i had to capture everything on I phone.
like as you go up, things get little expensive coz everything has to be carried by the porters as there's no road transport. Make sure you take diamox (altitude sickness ) once you get to the elevation of 2500m.You really dont have to but prevention is better and garlic soup helps too. So its a pretty good trail, enjoy the beauty of the mighty Himalayas in Nepal.Nature never disappoints you.

The first two days of our trip to Nepal. We flew Cathay Pacific from Melbourne, Australia to Kathmandu, Nepal. We had a layover in Hong Kong before flying to Tribhuvan International Airport. Our first full day in Kathmandu was spent exploring and eating at a restaurant called OR2K. Review of our hotel in Thamel, Kathmandu before we start our trek to Everest Base Camp and Gokyo Lakes.
