Off Leash Guelph Dog Park - Happiest Dog Ever!
My wife, Mel, and I’s cute little trouble making dog, CJ, out roaming his favourite park in our hometown of Guelph, ON. This is The Hanlon, and it’s a large circuit trail with many water features and a hike through the woods which you can take to complete the loop, or for shorter walks, turn back before it as we happened to do today. Lot’s of great dogs and folks to mingle with if you so choose, but also very easy to do your own thing if you’d like as well. We love it here, but most importantly, our boy CJ loves it here and it gets out the energy he has built up, and there’s a lot which you can see in this video. This is part of my day-to-day life, so not my normal video post, but do hope you still enjoy!

Mississauga and Toronto drowning in dogs' excrements 10
several hundreds of thousands of dogs live in Toronto and Mississauga. They all defecate and urinate on the streets of the two cities - on/at restaurants, buildings, homes, garbage bins, newspaper stands, property of schools, parks, sports fields, playing structures for children, recreational trails. The two cities are two huge dogs' toilets.
The dog owners walk the dogs. This means they take the dogs to defecate and urinate further away from their own homes, closer to their neighbours, in a desperate attempt to find new virgin land, which had not been yet desecrated by dogs' filth. But given the number of dogs, the filth is everywhere and it accumulates at a steady fast pace.
Many owners pick up after their dogs, but one can not pick up the urine. And rests of excrements are still there even after cleaning up. This all accumulates. Many owners do not pick up. Tons of excrements can be spotted every where near condos, apartments buildings, parks, on schools territory and on the recreational trails. Huge areas of landscaping are totally destroyed by excrements and urine. The cities spend considerable funds on landscaping, maintaining parks and sports fields. This is all wasted taxpayer's money because people who are not fans of filth can not use them.
This is a very serious unsanitary condition, a source of contagious disease which shall reach epidemic proportions sooner or latter.
Whenever and wherever you are out you shall see the disturbing, obscene, disgusting image of dogs defecating and urinating, the piles of filth, the puddles of urine and urinated man made objects like fire hydrants, poles, garbage bins, doors and walls of buildings. You see the humans admire how their dogs sniff the filth left by other dogs and by themselves on previous occasions and how they refresh it again and again. The owners admire this shamelessly - even if this is happening in front of neighbors' doors or at the entrance of food stores and restaurants - they are confident that this is legal, ethical and beautiful. This create an atmosphere of lawlessness, desperation, degeneration, sadness. It is a endless funeral procession. A funeral for the dreams of having a clean home in a clean neighbourhood, of having a normal life filled with joy and quality time. You are force-fed with filth and raped day after day.
How can you enjoy a carpet of golden leaves in early fall if you know it covers piles of excrements. How can you enjoy the aroma of lilac or roses, or other flowers if you are afraid to breathe because you know you shall inhale vapours of dogs' urine. How can you enjoy a white Christmas if the snow in the 2 cities is yellow and brown everywhere.
How can you play soccer or baseball if you know that the field is used on a regular basis by a huge number of dogs as their toilet. Children play, step and fall into filth at school and in the parks.
In public transit dogs sit on the sits, wiping their anus. How can a clean person sit afterwards in these sits?
The dog business also leads to bad relations between neighbours.
What is the impact of the millions plastic bags with dogs excrements on the environment?
I believe that the current arrangements with the dogs' defecation and urination should be revised. The society should openly discuss the topic and specialists should develop a sustainable solution. A first step would be exact implementation of the existing laws related to this, zero tolerance to not picking up for example. Next step: the walking of dogs in its current form should be prohibited by law. The animals should be allowed to poop and pee only in the owners home. Outside their homes dogs should use portable litter boxes or diapers.

First FPV quadcopter flight of 2016 - Mississauga/Toronto - MMFC Totoredaca field
I'm still getting used to FPV (flying while looking out through the camera of the aircraft, while actually sitting at a nearby bench wearing receiver goggles) but getting over the nerves of it. (Those tight banking turns really make your stomach lurch!) .. but its a huge thrill to come whipping down from 300 ft to 5 ft in a fast plunge across the field!
This is using an assembled Emax nighthawk ('more or less') quadcopter; FPV on Fatshark goggles, with the video recordig using an Mobius ActionCam.
Sorry, no audio; I need to overlay some music, as I have the audio disabled on the ActionCam.
