Juliet’s House Verona and a Verona travel itinerary ????
We incorporated Verona into our train trip itinerary, where we started in Milan and finished in Venice. Top attractions include a 14th Century residence said to be Juliet's House Verona, straight out of Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet.
There’s plenty of things to do in Verona. It’s not an overwhelming amount of choice though, which we liked. Juliet's balcony and house are pretty touristy, but an important part of the narrative, here, so a sentimental must-do.
We took a local walking tour that included sampling food and wine, and seeing the sights. View the clip to find out more about Verona and its charm.

A Walk Around The Verona Rail Station, Italy/ Verona Porta Nuova, Italy
We had a transfer wait of an hour and half at Verona Train Station for a train to Milan. So, to kill time during the transfer wait, I made this movie about the train station. Not enough time to go into the city. More time than just a 5 minute transfer. Make a movie.

Explore Fair Verona on this relaxed, all-inclusive day trip from Venice; taking you to see Juliet's Balcony, the amphitheater and so much more.

Top 10 Verona, Italy - What to See & Do in Verona
Visit Verona
Romeo & Juliette made this town famous for millions of English students, but the city has more than just a balcony and two star crossed lovers. Verona is an amazing town to visit as the Arena still holds concerts ranging from Opera to Pearl Jam and with churches and castles spotted all around is well worth a few nights stay.

One Day In VERONA, Italy: Things To See & Do!
We came to Verona for one day after travelling up from Venice where we'd spent the past couple of days. It takes around 1.5 hours on the train from Venice to Verona, we opted to stay in an Airbnb (link for Airbnb discount down below).
Having just one day in Verona, we're aiming to see everything we possibly can and we've heard amazing things about the city where the Shakespeare novel Romeo and Juliet were born. We didn't go inside Juliets balcony and instead just took some photos outside, to be honest, all the signs and chewing gum etc made the whole place a little grubby which was a shame.
Helen took the opportunity to hold Juliet, which apparently brings luck to those looking for love - does she really need any help with that? she has me after all ;-)
What we loved about Verona was how easily you could travel between the different sights, everything is within a couple of minutes walk of each other.

Verona: The Ghetto | Italia Slow Tour
Discover Verona: on the opposite side of Piazza delle Erbe you can find the ghetto, the old Jewish Quarter. It still has to this day the typical facades of the houses tall and narrow, with the access onto the Market Square. Then via Sottoriva, one of Verona's most interesting streets: it was and still is the street of the hostelries.

Venice and Verona | Italy Road Trip
The next stop on our Italy Road Trip was Venice but we may a stop in the city of Verona. Best known for its tale of love and lost for Romeo and Juliet, Verona is a city that is the perfect setting for such a tale. Venice was also as romantic and beautiful as we expected it to be. There are so many sights to see, we wish we had more time, but that just means that we have to go back!

English Version:
Verona is one of the most beautiful cities you can visit while your Italy Trip. The city of Romeo and Juliett offers you a big range of attractions and sightseeings and for sure a big variety of italian finest food. Walking through the old city is a big joy and everything you want to see is easy to reach by a short walking distance. There are some things you should not miss while your stay in Verona. Make sure to find your time to vist the Castlevecchio Museum and its amazing bridge Ponte Scaligero. It is worth a visit. Located in the north of italy it is easy to get to Lake Garda in very short time or you take the train and ride to Venice for a beautiful daytrip.
Have fun in Verona!!!
Viel Spaß in Verona!!!

Flight from Frankfurt to Bologna didn't take too long and before I know it, I was in the charming town of Bologna. I took a bigger step to look for Romeo (and Juliet) in Verona and then to Lake Garda, the largest lake in Italy.
