BOSNIA: TREBINJE: SPANISH RED CROSS DONATE AMBULANCE
Natural Sound
The Serbian Red Cross has received a helping hand from its sister organisation in Spain.
Red Cross officials in the southern Bosnian town of Trebinje took delivery of an ambulance donated by the Spanish Red Cross.
The vehicle will help aid workers transport and care for an increasing number of refugees, many from the formerly Serb suburbs of Sarajevo.
The Spanish flag flutters over a base near Trebinje in southern Bosnia.
It is the home of the Spanish contingent of IFOR - the NATO-led peace implementation force and also the setting for a very special donation ceremony.
General Luis Palacios on Friday handed over the keys of an ambulance, donated by the Spanish Red Cross to the Red Cross working in this refugee-packed town.
The ambulance is the second vehicle to be donated by the Spanish organisation.
It is hoped it will help strengthen the relationship between IFOR and the local population.
With so many new arrivals in town, Trebinje sorely needs practical assistance of this kind.
This was once an old people's home.
Now it holds 340 refugees - 140 from Sarajevo.
There has been an influx of Bosnian Serb refugees from Sarajevo suburbs like Vogosca and Ilidza since the areas fell under Bosnian/Muslim Federation control.
Refugees at this centre have enough food, fuel for heat, and water.
But conditions are crowded.
Trebinje now holds around 13-thousand refugees and the situation has recently deteriorated further.

Jahorina mountain, Bosnia and Herzegovina
Jahorina is a mountain in Republika Srpska, Bosnia and Herzegovina. The highest peak is Ogorjelica 1,916 m above sea level. Summer Jahorina puts in dense grass carpet and with its climate attracts picnickers, hikers, athletes and all those who seek refuge from the summer heat. Jahorina Mountain is only a 30-minute drive from Sarajevo, the capital of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The average number of days with snow on Jahorina is 175, and from October to the end of May. BALKAN | Tara, Višegrad, Sarajevo, Mostar, Dubrovnik, Sutjeska, Zlatibor I Travel Video 2019 | GoPro HD
This video shows an eight-day road trip through the Balkans.
The Tara National Park in the mountainous region of western Serbia was designated a national park in 1981. Known for its beautiful peaks, thick forests, and deep caves, the park's highlight is the massive Drina River Gorge, where rafting and boat trips are organized. The park is home to the rare Pancic Spruce (Picea omorica), which dates to the pre-historic Tertiary era.
Visegrad is a small town with around 6000 inhabitants, located on the Drina river, just where Rzav river is flowing into Drina. Visegrad used to be a small settlement before the 16th century, when the bridge was built. The man behind the idea of the bridge was the Grand Vezier Mehmed Pasha Sokolovic.Visegrad features another attraction that is not dating back to the 16th century but is not less interesting. This is Andricgrad – a complex built by film director Emir Kusturica in the honour of Ivo Andric.
Bosnia and Herzegovina's fascinating capital Sarajevo nestles among dramatic peaks, a bustling and welcoming city. War took its toll, with the 1992-1996 siege hitting hard. But the lively, diverse, museum-rich city has been almost entirely reconstructed.
Mostar, town, Bosnia and Herzegovina. Mostar is the chief city and, historically, the capital of Herzegovina. It is situated in mountainous country along the Neretva River. At dusk the lights of numerous millhouse restaurants twinkle across gushing streams, narrow Kujundžiluk bustles joyously with trinket sellers and, in between, the Balkans' most celebrated bridge forms a majestic stone arc between medieval towers.
Please watch in FULL SCREEN and HD for the best quality.

Walking in NOVI SAD / Serbia ????????- 4K 60fps (UHD)
Novi Sad (Нови Сад) is a city in northern Serbia. Nicely located at the Danube River it has a walkable centre and the hilltop Petrovaradin Fortress which dates to the 17th and 18th century.
We start our walk in the city center on the Trg Slobode with The Name of Mary Church (Serbian and Croatian: Crkva imena Marijinog). Our round goes through the old town where we eventually go East towards the Danube through the Danube's Park (Дунавски парк).
We cross the Danube via the Vardinski bridge. The sunset is close so we walk up to the Petrovaradin Fortress with its iconic clock tower for a nice view over Novi Sad and end this walk.

Bosna Hersek'in Saraybosna kenti, son gün, saat sabah 8.
Drveniya Köprüsü'nde Mlada Bosna (Genç Bosna) örgütü tarafından Ferdinand'a yapılan ilk suikast girişimi başarısızlıkla sonuçlandı.

Andrićgrad (Serbian Cyrillic: Андрићград, meaning Andrić's town) is the name of an ongoing construction project located in Višegrad, Republika Srpska, Bosnia and Herzegovina by director Emir Kusturica. The town is dedicated to Yugoslav novelist Ivo Andrić, Nobel prize winner.
Construction of Andrićgrad, also known as Kamengrad (Каменград, Stonetown) started on 28 June 2011, and is scheduled to be completed by June 2014.[1] Andrićgrad is located several kilometers from Kusturica's first town, Drvengrad, in Serbia.
Andrićgrad is located near the Mehmed Paša Sokolović Bridge, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and streaches from the bridge up to the confluence of Rzav River.[2] After Drvengrad (English: Woodentown) this is the second village Kusturica created from scratch. Andrićgrad is to be used as a filming location for the Emir's new film Na Drini ćuprija, based on The Bridge on the Drina novel by Nobel Prize for Literature laureate Ivo Andrić.[citation needed]
Controversy[edit]
The building of Andrićgrad sparked Bosniak reaction.
The Sarajevo-based Bosniak victim organization Women Victims of the War headed by Bakira Hasečić said that much of Kusturica's fantasy town will occupy the site of a sports centre that was used as a detention camp in the war.[3]
Soon after the construction of Andrićgrad started, the descendants of Bosniak landowner Pašan Hadžić, claiming ownership of the plot of land on which Andrićgrad is being built, announced plans to sue the Republika Srpska authorities for illegally registering their land under the municipality of Višegrad and then giving it to Kusturica's project.[4]
In April 2013, Teatro La Fenice from Venice, Italy came under criticism from Udruženje Ćuprija, a Bosniak association established in January 2012 and headed by Hikmet Karčić.[5] Taking issue with La Fenice signing an agreement with Kusturica to jointly producing an opera The Bridge under the River Drina, the association launched an online petition for the Italian theater to back out of the project. Udruženje Ćuprija claims that Ivo Andrić's book -- which in any case is fiction, even if it refers to historical events is being used to justify what the Serbian fascists did here in the nineties.[6]
