Amberg is a small town in Germany, near where we live. We were particularly lazy that weekend, so we chose a town nearby. Apparently we weren't the only lazy ones, the town was so empty we kept bumping into the same few people, at one point we started greeting each other :)

After being in Germany for a couple of weeks, we got to set out into the great tradition of the Volksfest. With Beer a plenty, Traditional Music and Dindelsand Lederhosen all around, it is a must do when coming to the Land.

Just so happens on this night, it ended up a lot different than I had hoped. All in all was a night to remember.

Kleingartenanlage an der Vils in Amberg

Hecken säumen die Wege zwischen den Parzellen der Kleingartenanlage, in jedem Garten steht ein Obstbaum und spendet Schatten für das obligatorische Gartenhaus. Gemüsebeete wechseln sich mit Blumenrabatten ab und aus einigen Gärten kommt der Klang von rauschendem Wasser in den Teichen und der Gesang der Vögel.

Die Oberpfalznetz-Redaktion hat diesen malerischen Ort in Amberg besucht und einen kleinen Teil dieser großen Idylle festgehalten.
