Cyril B. Romney Tortola Pier Park, Road Town, Tortola British Virgin Islands 2018 | #bvitreasures
On November 15, 2018, there were two cruise ships on the cruise ship dock at Cyril B. Romney Tortola Pier Park Road Town, Tortola, British Virgin Islands. I got the opportunity to get some footage after speaking to my niece-in-law who works at the BVI Tourist Board. I was really hoping to get very close to the ships but only passengers are allowed in that area. Enjoy!!!

Bonaire, Divers Paradise
Bonaire Town Dock
This is a close-up of parts of two piers, done while snorkeling about 9PM on January 9th, 2013. The colors are astounding, particularly the orange cup coral. Access to the dock is controlled, and must be in the company of a licensed guide.
Bonaire
Recorded February 20, 2008.
The Island Territory of Bonaire is one of five island areas of the Netherlands Antilles, consisting of the main island of Bonaire and, nestled in its western crescent, the uninhabited islet of Klein Bonaire. Together with Aruba and Curaçao it forms a group referred to as the ABC islands of the Leeward Antilles, the southern island chain of the Lesser Antilles. Bonaire has a land area of 111 square miles. Bonaire's population was 14,006 inhabitants in 2006. Bonaire is world renowned for its excellent scuba diving and is consistently rated among the best diving and Caribbean diving locations in the world. Bonaire is also famed for its flamingo populations and its donkey sanctuary. Kralendijk is the capital city and main port of the island of Bonaire.
The video begins as we sail into Bonaire's harbour on the Crown Princess. After disembarking the ship I visit Gotomeer Lake, Washington Slagbaai National Park and the island's capital city Kralendijk. During the video we see Bonaire wildlife, lizards, flamingos and a donkey. The video concludes as we sail away from the island on the Crown Princess after a beautiful sunset.

A Day in Bonaire - Snorkeling on Klein Bonaire
November 27th, 2015, I returned to an Island I last visited in 1975. Much has changed but the reef off Klein Bonaire is still colorful and teaming with life. We arrived on Bonaire by Cruise Sip Serenade of the Seas and boarded a water taxi to the small island, about a 15 minute ride. We had two terrific guides who explained about the current and the easy way to drift along the reef by walking up current for about a mile and entering through a break in the surf. From experience this is a run out and the current takes you right through the surf to the outside of the reef line where drifting along is effortless and relaxing. We spent about 45 minutes drifting along shooting video the entire trip. The last time I was here I used a 25 pound 16mm film camera with a big heavy light. GoPro sure makes it easy 40 years later!
We arrived back at the town Peer in plenty of time to do a little shopping at a small market square and picked up some CD's of Musika Di Bonaire in the native language.
This is a 3D side by side video. The surface content was shot with a 3D camera. The underwater was shot in 2D and converted.
Note- This is the second edit of this video.
2011-03-11 Salt Pier with Lil & Marcia: Blennylips Bonaire Dive Log
One of our best dives yet at the Salt Pier! Too bad Marcia's mask was leaking...In spite of that, she still managed to pet a Squid, pet a Trumpetfish and get up close to a very big Snapper. For all the troubles Bonaire's reefs are having, I must say that the small fish, especially the Brown Chromis, are thriving like I've never seen before. Some unusual sight: A teenage French Angelfish cleaning several Bar Jacks; Very large schools of Silversides right next to the shore under the conveyor belt--two distinct species in separate schools. Great dive and now you do not need the Harbormaster's permission first.
