Pacing the Alabama & Tennessee River Railway - ATN 5387, 7371, 9651
This is the ATN next to 1st Avenue S in Birmingham, Alabama. The train is heading for an interchange with CSX at Boyles Yard. After this the track makes a sharp turn to the right and crosses the NS main while running next to 32nd Street next to Sloss Furnaces before joining CSX track.
If you look closely in the latter part of the video you can see in the pavement where the double tracks of the Birmingham Belt used to cross this line. Although the Birmingham Belt track is gone from this location, the diamonds and smash board gate were still in place several years ago.
This track was once the Seaboard Air Line main from Atlanta to Birmingham. ATN also operates former L&N and NC&StL track.

Trip to Birmingham Alabama
This past weekend Chris came to Starkville, MS and this is a video of what all we did. I made gluten free brownies, went to Birmingham, and went to the refuge. In Birmingham we went to Baha Burgers, TopGolf, and Steel City Pop. I talk some about the gluten free options at each place. It was a lot of fun and laughs and I hope you enjoy this video of it. Also, there are some parts where Chris is spitting. Yes he dips and I try to cut it out, but I missed 2 very small places and did not feel up to spending another hour editing after I had already spent 3. So I am instead apologizing here. Make sure and like, comment and subscribe if you enjoyed this video.
