Train Night Market Ratcadha Bangkok - Shopping & Food prices Review #livelovethailand
Train Night Market Ratchada. To start, it's actually open every night of the week and I presume due to its popularity. Take the MRT to the Thailand Cultural Centre and take Exit 3. Walk left when you exit to the street and then the next left side-street which is behind The Esplanade shopping mall.
In this V-log We have a general review about the shopping prices and the food you can eat in this night market.
I hope you will enjoy it.

Ratchada Rod Fai Train Night Market Street Walk, Where You Have to Go in Bangkok!
Complete walkthrough of the most amazing night market in Bangkok hands down. No talk, just 4k HD in all its glory. Skip to the 43 minute mark for the commentary and guide.
The Rod Fai Market, also known as the Train night market from the English Translation of Rod Fai also known as the Ratchada night market due to it's location in the Ratchada area as there are technically 3 Train Rodfai night markets in the Bangkok Area. One is the original Train night market, the other is in Sinakarin. The Rod Fai, Train, Ratchada night market however is the best in my opinion due to its close proximity to the city center while still offering you all the authentic street food. The Bar area is also the best laid out of the 3 and it also offers plenty of souvenir shopping for those visiting which is a great way to walk off all the calories. There is just so much jam packed in here as you can see from the long walk. This is a definite must visit for any visitor to Bangkok. Come before it gets even more touristy :P

Blackouts at Train Night Market, Ratchada Bangkok (Talad Rot Fai Ratchada)
Experienced 2 blackouts at the Ratchada Train Night Market within an hour. It's business as usual with portable lights turned on. Looks like it's a common occurrence.
Located at the Ratchadaphisek Road, behind the Esplanade Mall, it's an offshoot of the original Train Market Srinakarin. You can go there by MRT. Get off at Thailand Cultural Center Station, exit 3 and follow the crowd.

Train Market Ratchada | Best Night Market in Bangkok?
Rod Fai Market (Train Market) in the Ratchada area of Bangkok brings in the same convivial night bazaar feel, antique curios, and street food snacks and treats from its original location, into an area of the city that’s much easier to access thanks to the nearby Cultural Centre MRT Underground Station.
Although the original, Srinakarin branch is much larger, it’s also way out in the suburbs of Bangkok, making it challenging for people who find themselves on the other side of the city. This new Train Market is more central and compact, meaning it’s easier to pop in for a spot of browsing anytime from 6pm to midnight.

One Night Market In Bangkok!: Street Food at Ratchada Rot Fai Train Night Market
THAI STREET FOOD! YESSSSS! Sounds glorious, doesn't it? Now imagine it at a Night Market where you're surrounded by music and new sights and smells! That was our night eating street food at Ratchada Rot Fai Train Night Market in Bangkok, Thailand!
This is a HUGE Night Market. The biggest we've ever been to, but not the biggest in Bangkok! That honor lies with Srinakarin Rot Fai Market, but this night market is located in the suburbs of Bangkok and therefore pretty out of the way. Ratchada, however, is located in an awesome metropolitan area of Bangkok that was so different from the area our hostel was in. I really recommend going there. Add it and this Night Market to your list of Places To Go/Things To Do, etc. in Bangkok.

Great food and reasonable price of goods to buy. Locals are also here to shop and eat. This night market is awesome! Lots of pubs to sit and drink but also some fantastic snack food stalls. The shopping stalls are all really clean and neat. Great bargains too. Beware though this place is busy!
4 rows of food followed by multiple rows of shopping. Surrounded by a perimeter of 2-storied bars. Overall this place was just right.
HISTORY OF THE 3 TRAIN NIGHT MARKETS
The Train Night Market Ratchada
Talat Rotfai, also known as the Train Night Market, is a chain of night markets in Bangkok, Thailand. Originally located near the Chatuchak Weekend Market on State Railway of Thailand (SRT) land, it has since relocated to Si Nakharin Road, with a second branch at Ratchada and a third in Kaset–Nawamin. The markets focus on antiques and vintage-style items, especially clothing and home accessories, as well as a large variety of food and drink.[1] Its primary location at Si Nakharin has been ranked the most popular night market in Bangkok.
The market was founded by Pairod Roikaew, previously an antique dealer, in 2010. It was located on part of the SRT's railway yard on Kamphaeng Phet Road, among unused warehouses, tracks and rolling stock (hence the name). Featuring a vintage atmosphere, it quickly became popular with Bangkok's youth, but was forced to close down in 2013 when the area was marked for construction of the Bang Sue Central Station. Pairod reopened the market at a new location on Si Nakharin Road, behind the Seacon Square shopping center. The new location, despite being far from the city center with no rapid transit access, continued to be popular, and a second branch next to The Esplanade shopping center was opened on Ratchadaphisek Road in 2015. The third branch on Kaset–Nawamin (Prasoet Manukit) Road was opened later the same year
