West Coast Express and SkyTrain at Vancouver's Waterfront
Translink's West Coast Express commuter train from Mission arrives at Vancouver's Waterfront Station as a Mark II SkyTrain set leaves and a SeaBus from North Vancouver arrives, as on any typical weekday morning.
TransLink Canada Line Skytrain - Vancouver, Richmond and YVR Airport
*Closed Captions/Subtitles now available!
This is a narrated video about the Canada Line - and some of the nearby amenities, landmarks, and available connections from the fifteen stations in the cities of Vancouver, Richmond, and on Sea Island.
I had intended to make a production like this in 2009 with the line's opening, but due to considerable errors with the footage (and it was only filmed in 640x480 resolution) demanded that I abandon the project until much later, recording the footage all over again with a newer camera in a higher resolution.
West Coast Express bear commute
TransLink closed-circuit video showing a bear cub cross the train tracks and climb onto the Coquitlam Central Station platform just after 8 a.m. Oct. 17, which prompted TransLink officials to clear the platform and cancel Train 5’s stop in the city.
Compass Ticket Demonstration (Translink)
This is a demonstration of a compass ticket, I just found this laying on the ground at the Mission City (West Coast Express) Station. In this short video I demonstrate the tapping of the ticket on one of the many Compass Validators (Card Reader).
Compass is a new way to experience travel throughout Metro Vancouver using Buses, Skytrain, Seabus, West Coast Express etc. Compass is the new smart card technology where it is easy to tap in and out and will be replacing the old Faresaver tickets, Monthly passes etc.
I found this ticket laying on the ground, in the passenger walkway above the station. Since I've never had a compass ticket or card yet, I picked it up and decided to just keep it as a souvenir then :P These are only single-use Tickets, Compass cards are Orange and Blue which can be reloaded. The Gray Compass tickets cannot be re-used.

Vancouver Translink Seabus MV Burrard Beaver
Welcome aboard the only original Seabus in the fleet, the Burrard Beaver. This vessel has been recently been refurbished with new cabin design, onboard cameras, and new engines. You see the other vessel Burrard Pacific Breeze heading in the opposite direction.
Seabus is Vancouver's only public transit passenger ferry opened in June 17, 1977 with two vessels Burrard Otter & Burrard Beaver. It crosses Burrard Inlet between Waterfront station & Lonsdale Quay in 15 minuets. Seabus now has 3 vessels after Burrard Otter was retired. Seabus also has free wifi in terminals and vessels courtesy of Shaw Go Wifi.

I was traveling on Expo line sky Train from King George Station in Surrey Vancouver to Vancouver Water- Front.
It was unique experience, you can see the best views of Metro Vancouver. There are over 20 stations, you go across.
Waterfront is a major intermodal public transportation facility and the main transit terminus in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. It is located on West Cordova Street in Downtown Vancouver, between Granville and Seymour Street. The station is also accessible via two other street-level entrances, one on Howe Street to the west for direct access to the Expo Line and another on Granville Street to the south for direct access to the Canada Line.
The station is within walking distance of Vancouver's historical Gastown district, Canada Place, Convention & Exhibition Centre, Harbour Centre, Sinclair Centre, and the Vancouver Harbour Flight Centre float plane terminal. A heliport operated by Helijet, along with the downtown campuses for Simon Fraser University and the British Columbia Institute of Technology, are also located within the vicinity of the station.
