Sometimes we shoot some footage with the idea of using it in a later project and then the project never happens. That was the case with this sequence we shot one one of the rare occasions we went to Perth using the bus and train services.

Trains & buses at Butler - Perth Transport
In this video we see some trains and buses at Butler, the terminus of the Joondalup line in Perth's northern suburbs. On the platform we see a couple of Transperth B Series EMU's arrive and depart the station. While waiting on the platform we also take a quick interior tour of the B Series (featuring one of three possible seating combinations) and listen to some train & platform announcements. We then head outside to the bus interchange where we see the usual Transperth buses including Mercedes Benz O405NH's with Volgren CR225L bodies & Volvo B7RLE's with Volgren Optimus bodies.
Opening on the 21 September 2014, Butler is the newest station in Perth. It was built as part of the latest extension to the Joondalup line to serve Perth's growing northern suburbs. Butler replaced Clarkson as the terminus of the line.
