My kids love Great Wolf Lodge. They might even like it as much as Disneyland! ha ha. All my daughter wanted for her 8th birthday was to go to Great Wolf Lodge, so we packed up everything and went!

As I was making this video there are some things that I missed!
1. They have a Starbucks in their Waterparks!
2. They also have an outdoor pool that opens in the summer! So if you want some sunshine, you can always go outside!
3. They provide towels! Just one less thing to pack when you go there!
4. I talked about bringing food into Great Wolf Lodge - that includes take out from other places!
5. One last thing for the older kids. They have an amazing ropes course there! Just be sure to bring closed toe shoes!

10 Bizarre Secret Rooms Found in People's Homes
A home is a place where you feel safe and maybe even a place you feel comfortable enough to walk around in our underwear. But imagine one day, sat on the couch in your tighty whities, you look over and see a small handle in the floor underneath the coffee table. You open the trap door to find a hidden room and evidence that someone has actually been living there all along!
Ok, so this scenario is fictional, but here are ten hidden rooms that actually were found in people homes.
#1 AN EMPTY ROOM
Jasson and Kerri Brown bought a house back in 2005. While exploring their now abode and preparing to do some renovations they discovered a passageway behind a bookshelf. It led to an empty room. But in the room they found a folded up piece of paper with the words: You found it! on the front. They unfolded the paper to reveal a note from a previous owner, explaining that they had been forced to move because of a serious toxic mold problem that the house had.
Upon reading this the Browns decided to sue the broker who sold them the property for not disclosing this information.
#2 THE HIDDEN CRAWLSPACE
The reddit user LMBRJACK posted pictures of a hidden crawlspace he found in his home. Investigating further he'd found a locked door and when he managed to break in, he found a sound proofed room with electrical outlets, a safe and a briefcase. Inside the briefcase he found jewelry and various envelopes full of money from all around the world. A happy find! But inside the safe he found a bunch of suspicious tapes and written on one were the words, no no no no no no... Apparently the police are still looking into those videotapes and say that it's relevant to an ongoing case. Creepy...
#3 GHOST TENANT
Because of the strange noises they heard, one group of Ohio state university students were convinced that the house they were staying in was haunted. That is until they did some investigating and found a cabinet door that actually lead to a hidden room. This room had a bed, a tv, and other evidence that proved someone had been living there secretly all along, going about their daily lives almost undetected alongside the students.
#4 UNDER THE PANTRY
On student was living quite happily in a house his parents had bought him New Mexico. However as nice as that sounds at night he'd hear banging coming from underneath the house. After investigating he found a square door in the pantry floor. The door lead to a pretty creepy room, with a desk, lights and a recently smoked cigarette... Spooky!
#5 THE TRAP-DOOR
Redit user DEMC7 moved into an apartment and all seemed ok. Until they discovered a door in the floor. The door lead to a dungeon like room with block built bed structures and graffiti on the wall. The center of the floor looked like it had been dug up, suggesting something may have been berried underneath.
#6 SINGER CASTLE
This awesome property was built in 1896 by the president of the Singer sewing machine company. This castle is full of all sorts of hidden passages, rooms and doors and even paintings you can spy though while in some of the hidden rooms! Oh yeh, and it has a dungeon... So...
#7 HIDDEN CHAPEL
It took the Farlers 3 year to finally pluck up the courage to investigate into the strange metal grill they had in their house. Upon removing the grate they uncovered whole other room. The very old looking room had several shelves and what appeared to be some form of religious cross on the floor. It's believed to have been some sort of chapel, possibly used by persecuted Catholics hundreds of years ago.
#8 BEHIND THE BOOKS
One anonymous family discovered a passageway behind a bookshelf in the parents bedroom. The passageway had a spiral staircase that led to a single room. In the room, there was evidence that someone was actually living there! They found candy wrappers and items that had been taken from the house, suggested the person had be walking around while they were sleeping or were away.
#9 THE DUNGEON
An Australian family noticed that their carpet always seem to sag and the floor never really felt that stable. Upon investigation they found that under the carpet there was a door that lead to a dungeon! Well, some some sort of dungeon looking basement anyway. It had an old rusty bed frame, electrical cables hanging from the ceiling and an old unused fireplace.
#10 ZOMBIE APOCALYPSE ROOM
In pretty much all the zombie apocalypse games and movies that are out there, there's one thing that you can never have too much of. And to the surprise of this one American who had just moved in, he'd hit the mother load. Moving a board on the basement room wall, the man found a hidden room with enough ammunition for a small war (or to survive a zombie apocalypse). On weird thing is though, no guns, just empty gun cases... Not so good for a zombie apocalypse.

Snow Storm Trucking | Blizzard 2019
We got our biggest snow storm in 2019, decisions have to be made fast whether or not to go trucking in this blizzard.
This winter storm developed very quickly, before it heads to the East Coast. The winter weather was not supposed to start until later that night but instead quickly overtook our trucking company and truck lot where our Big Rigs began to get stuck in the snow.

Our latest guest in hour two, Michael Ventura, entrepreneur and CEO of award-winning strategy and design practice Sub Rosa, shares how empathy, the ability to see the world through someone else’s eyes, could be what your business needs to innovate, connect, and grow.
Having built his career working with iconic brands and institutions such as General Electric, Google, Nike, and Warby Parker, Ventura offers entrepreneurs and executives a way forward with his recently released book, Applied Empathy: The New Language of Leadership.
Applied Empathy presents real strategies, based on Sub Rosa’s design work and the popular class Ventura and his team have taught at Princeton University, on how to make lasting connections and evolve your business internally as well as externally.
For leaders of all levels, this book lays the foundation to establish a diverse, inventive, and driven team that can meet the challenges of today’s ever-evolving marketplace. If you want to connect to the people you work with and for, you first have to understand them.

Hidden Falls* - St Paul, MN
The park dates back to 1887, when it was selected by Horace Cleveland, a nationally known landscape architect and park planner, as one of four major park sites for the City of Saint Paul. Except for the use of a portion of the land as a tree nursery, no improvement was made in Hidden Falls Park until 1936-37, when the WPA carried out an extensive improvement program on the site. Featured in the park was a small spring-feed waterfall from which the park got its name. In the mid 1960's the park took much of its present form as work began on the park's four primary use areas: the primitive area, boat launching area, general picnic area, and scenic falls area.

SUGGEST MOVIE OR TV SERIES FOR REVIEW IN COMMENTS BELOW
Mystery Science Theater 3000 (MST3K) is an American television comedy series created by Joel Hodgson. The show premiered on KTMA-TV (now WUCW) in Minneapolis, Minnesota, on November 24, 1988. It later aired on The Comedy Channel/Comedy Central for seven seasons until its cancellation in 1996. Thereafter, it was picked up by The Sci-Fi Channel and aired for three seasons until another cancellation in August 1999. The show initially starred Hodgson as Joel Robinson, a janitor trapped against his will by two mad scientists on the Satellite of Love, and forced to watch a series of B movies as a part of the scientists' plot to take over the world. To keep his sanity, Joel crafts a number of robot companions—including Tom Servo, Crow T. Robot, and Gypsy—to keep him company and help him humorously comment on each movie as it plays, a process known as riffing.
Kevin Murphy - Tom Servo
Trace Beaulieu - Crow T. Robot
Jim Mallon - Gypsy
Michael J. Nelson - Mike Nelson
Frank Conniff - TV's Frank
Joel Hodgson - Joel Robinson
Mary Jo Pehl - Pearl Forrester
J. Elvis Weinstein - Tom Servo

What I Learned About Life from Death | Jane Whitlock | TEDxMinneapolis
Jane lost her husband at the age of 47. This experience transformed every aspect of her life. She believes this level of transformation is available to every single person out there. When we don't talk about death and remind ourselves daily, (maybe hourly) that we are going to die, we run the risk of taking this magical gift called life for granted and getting all tangled up in caring about what doesn't matter. Jane Whitlock, aka, Doula Jane, is an end-of-life doula. Whitlock provides guidance and emotional support for individuals and families through the end-of-life process. Why is it okay to ask strangers at the supermarket about their pregnancy but not about their impending death? Doula Jane spends an inordinate amount of time thinking about how she can normalize death. You could say that she has a healthy fascination with death, grief, and dying. Recognising the need for an impartial and compassionate perspective during her husband’s terminal cancer battle in 2013, Whitlock launched her practice to help others in dealing with the fragile and fleeting constants of life and death. Whitlock declares that Death and its sacred rituals have many gifts to offer us. The gift of living our best lives while we face dying. The gift of finding meaning in our lives. The gift of having the opportunity to tell loved ones: I'm sorry, I forgive you, thank you, and goodbye. When we know we are dying and time is short there comes an opportunity for deep transformation for both the departing and their loved ones. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at
