ALL ABOUT MADRID METRO | Vlog 2019
ALL ABOUT MADRID METRO | Vlog 2019
If you know me, you know I hate driving with a passion. I also hate owning a car even more. While driving may be a necessity in some places, I can assure you, in Madrid - it’s not.
▹
The Madrid Metro was originally established in 1919 and had only 8 stations. Here we are, 100 years later, and the Metro now reaches 12 municipalities in Madrid, where over 75 percent of the residents live less than 600 meters away from a station and has over 2.3 million people traveling daily!
▹
If you’re coming to visit Madrid, studying abroad, or simply staying for an extended period of time, you definitely want to get your hands on an ‘Abono’ ASAP. If you’d benefit from having a monthly card which gives you full access to all forms of Madrid public transportation for 30 days, the price depends on your age and what zone of the city you want access to. The “normal” card is for ages 26-64 and covers Zone A (city center), for the price of 54,60€ per month. The “youth” card, which is ages 26 and under, is priced at 20€ for ALL zones.
▹
If it’s your first time getting a monthly unlimited Metro card, you need to set up an appointment first. Visit tarjetatransportepublico.crtm.es and click Solicitud Tarjeta Transporte Público. Then select which card you wish to obtain and pick a metro office near you, date, and time. On the day of your appointment, bring the three required documents and your metro card will be given to you by the time you’re finished.
▹
The three required documents you will need to get your metro card are:
• Application document
• A standard passport sized photo (which you can get at the photo booths in most metro stations, including Sol)
• An original copy of either your, EU ID, Spanish residency card, or passport

Travel From Morocco To Spain ( Madrid )By Train and Ferry
#TraveltoEurope#Train#AfricatoEurope
This is a video guide to the journey from Tangier in Morocco to Madrid in Spain, via the FRS fast ferry from Tangier to Tarifa and Renfe's morning 'Altaria' train from Algeciras to Madrid Puerta de Atocha.
The video shows the famous Continental Hotel in Tangier, the ferry and train interiors and the scenery along the way. Note that the train segment is the same as that on the Gibraltar-Madrid video, so don't bother watching both train parts!
Compare ferries from Morocco to Spain
There are numerous ferry crossings operating from Morocco to Spain. Ferries currently connect 4 ports in Morocco with 6 ports in Spain.
There are a combined number of 52 ferry crossings each day across a selection of 8 Ferry Routes which are operated by 8 ferry companies including Balearia, Trasmediterranea, FRS, Naviera Armas, Grandi Navi Veloci, Grimaldi Lines, Inter Shipping & AML with the shortest crossing taking around 30 minutes (Tangier Med to Algeciras).
This is a general summary of the services on offer between Morocco and Spain, for live information select from our Fare Search.
Morocco is a country in North Africa, south of Spain, with a coastline on both the North Atlantic Ocean and the Mediterranean Sea.
As one of the most diverse nations on the continent, it’s easy to see why Morocco has long been a popular holiday destination. The dunes of the Sahara Desert and the highest mountains in North Africa dominate the south, while a ruggedly beautiful coastline and lush plains lie to the north
Spain is a beautiful and diverse country located in the south west of Europe. As a country well known for its beaches, the geographical and cultural diversity in Spain often comes across as a surprise to its visitors.
This exotic country really has it all, from lush meadows, green valleys and hills to snowy mountains and almost desert zones in the South. No wonder Spain ranks the third most visited European country.
In terms of getting to Spain by ferry, with the North, East and South sides of the country facing the Sea, there’s no shortage of options. From the UK, there are regular scheduled crossings available and though the crossings on offer are long, the ships are cruise like in standard which makes for an extremely pleasant trip. The same applies to the connection across the Mediterranean Sea from Italy.
The term Afro European or Afro-European refers to Europeans who trace at least part of their ancestry to Sub-Saharan Africa, or former European colonies in Africa in general
If you're planning your first trip to Europe, congratulations! Learning about the world through travel is the best thing that ever happened to me.
