Cairo/ Giza: Local transport | Hotels | offline Maps | Tourist Hassles in Egypt (2018)
After arriving from Alexandria, I took a bus to Giza Pyramids from a bus terminal inside the city of Giza. Thanks to the helpful people who guided me to the bus terminal. In the initial part of the video, you will see the mad traffic of Giza; you'll get a glimpse local transportation in Egypt. The bus I took to my hotel in Giza is called minibus. I have shared information about the Minibus fare in Cairo and Giza. The person sitting beside me also helped me to understand the mobile service providers in Egypt. So there is a mention of the best mobile network in Egypt.
The video will also show you the hotel rating scam which I went through. The people, in general, are helpful, but there were few incidents which lead to tourist's harassments. Such events make a tourist feel unsafe in Egypt. In the latter part of the video, you'll find hotels near Giza Pyramids. I stayed in one of them. I got a good view of the pyramids from its rooftop.

My 24 Hour Layover in Cairo, Egypt by #EgyptAir | Pyramids of Giza & Sphinx Vlog | Egypt Travel Tips
This vlog is about my trip to the Pyramids of Giza in Cairo, Egypt. It was actually a 24-hour layover provided by Egypt Air. This video has information about transit visa, entry ticket fees, the sound and light show at Giza Pyramids and many interesting historical facts about The Pyramids and Sphinx. I'd also like to mention here that the best and most enjoyable way for a tourist to enjoy this experience is to get a local guide. This will prevent you from getting scammed at The Pyramids.
Our guide's name was ADAM and he is an excellent English-speaking guide. He explained everything to us in great detail. I highly recommend him for anyone looking for a reliable tour guide.

Holyland Trip Vlog - Day 5 - MOUNT SINAI, EGYPT (EP 05)
EP.05: We explored Mount Sinai area. We went to Saint Catherine Monastery for our first stop. It's traditionally believed that the bush in the monastery is the burning bush where the angel and God appeared to Moses. There's also the well where Moses meets Zipporah. Then we went to the hotel for a short rest and continued to Mount Sinai adventure.

5 Tips For Egypt Travel | Have You Planned it All Out?
5 Tips for Travel to Egypt
I recently went on vacation to Europe and planned for a 6 day trip to Egypt.
3 Days in Sharm El Sheikh
Flight from Brussels-Sharm El Sheikh
Economy flight via TUI Airlines
$98 total for the flight one way
We stayed at the Hyatt Regency
Great resort and cheap. Definitely need to get a spa treatment and hit the scuba shop
3 Day in Cairo
From Sharm El Sheikh we flew Nile Air for a 50 minute flight that was awesome and the airline was great. I highly recommend Nile Air
$54 one way
While in Cairo I booked at the Ramses Hilton on the Nile
This hotel was great and in the middle of where you need to be. Also what is not said on their website is they have a currency exchange center in the lobby and they do not charge an exchange rate transaction fee. 0 fee's
I have a great taxi driver in Cairo who took us on tour on our terms and he showed us around the city.
Give him a shout and let him know Chico sent you.

Originally from Nashville, Tennessee, we got married June 2013 and quickly caught the travel bug! We started “travel hacking” and taking more trips together and finally decided we wanted to travel for one year. After 2 years of saving $ and travel hacking over 2 million miles and points, we sold our cars and apartment and left home January 10, 2016. We started this YouTube channel to share our experiences with friends and family, then decided we really liked vlogging and traveling. So we extended our 1 year trip to THREE years :) Now we have a goal of traveling to 100 countries before Nate turns 30 (which is March 20, 2019)! We are incredibly thankful to do something we love every day. :)
TEMPLES OF LUXOR: HATSHEPSUT, LUXOR, and KARNAK | Egypt Travel Vlog
After a week diving the Red Sea, it was time to explore what Egypt has to offer on land!
We took a 4-hour car ride across desert and mountains from the port city Hurghada to the city of Luxor (known in ancient times as Thebes). Spanning the east bank and west bank of the Nile River, this was a capital of ancient Egypt. Today, it's home some of the largest and most well-preserved tombs and temples from the new, middle, and old kingdom.
In our whirlwind, one day tour of Luxor, we saw: Valley of the Kings, the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, Luxor Temple, and Karnak Temple. It was an AMAZING day. These ancient Egyptian temples and tombs are remarkably well-preserved, and seriously impressive. Nothing like wandering around a ruin that's over 3000 years old to give you some perspective on life!

Cairo: Ancient Egypt, Explore The Wonders Of Egyptian Capital, Peak In Pyramids, Cairo Tour
Cairo: Ancient Egypt, Explore The Wonders Of Egyptian Capital, Peak In Pyramids, Cairo Tour
Cairo’s an ancient city that also happens to be a modern metropolis—it’s one of the biggest cities in the Middle East and has the traffic and noise issues to prove it. But as long as you’re not looking for solitude, Cairo—the City of the Thousand Minarets—is a splendid place to explore Egyptian history and culture.
Hop in and you will see:
The Museum of Egyptian Antiquities, known commonly as the Egyptian Museum, is home to the most extensive collection of ancient Egyptian antiquities in the world. It has 136,000 items on display, with many more hundreds of thousands in its basement storerooms
Khan el-Khalili is an ancient shopping area, nothing less, but some of the shops have also their own little factories or workshops.
The suq - which is the Arabic name for bazaar, or market dates back to 1382, when Emir Djaharks el-Khalili built a big caravanserai (or khan) right here. A caravanserai was a sort of hotel for traders, and usually the focal point for economic activity for any surrounding area. This caravanserai is still there, you just ask for the narrow street of Sikka Khan el-Khalili and Badestan.
The part of Cairo that contains Coptic Cairo and Fostat, which contains the Coptic Museum, Babylon Fortress, Hanging Church, the Greek Church of St. George, many other Coptic churches, the Ben Ezra Synagogue and Amr ibn al-'As Mosque.
The Cairo Tower is a free-standing concrete TV tower in Cairo. It stands in the Zamalek district on Gezira Island in the Nile River, in the city centre. At 187 meters, it is 43 meters higher than the Great Pyramid of Giza, which stands some 15 km to the southwest.
And last but not the least is famous Giza plateau and its beutiful pyramids and sphinx. You will have a glimpse in there but just for a short period of time to tickle your imagination.
Hope you will enjoy the video as much as I have.
Have a good day.
