EXPLORING AMMAN | 12 Days in Jordan - Part 1
I was very blessed to have the opportunity to go on this wonderful trip to Jordan with a few of my peers and two teachers from school. I didn't have much of a plan for when it came to vlogging, I just recorded when I could and felt that I wanted to. That's why this video is a bit random at times. Subscribe and stay tuned for part two of this trip, it gets so much better!

To Amman, Jordan! + Visiting Mt. Nebo
Day 1 of the Holy Land tour and it starts off in the majestic city of Amman, Jordan! In this video, we visited the St. George Monastery in Madaba where the oldest map of Palestine and the oldest geographic floor map in history can be found. This map uncovered a lot of archaeological insights around the area which also led to the discovery of mosaic maps in five other churches.
Next up, we travelled to Mt. Nebo, where Moses led the people to the promised land of Canaan. It was in this sight where he died knowing that he served the purpose that God has laid upon him. A panoramic view of the Holy Land can also be seen in this site.

Jordan: a safe destination?
Is Jordan a safe destination? If you're planning on visiting Jordan, and not sure whether or not it's a safe destination, watch this!
International media has been shedding light on the Middle East's unrest since the beginning of the Arabic Spring. Today, as Syria enters its sixth year of civil war, people still believe that the Middle East in general is an unsafe to place to visit, associating Jordan with the turmoil happening in the region.
We spent a day walking around the streets of the capital of Jordan; Amman, asking tourists and expats about their experience in the country and safety concerns.
This is a project that was initiated by my brother, Nasser Kawar, and myself to finally have this question answered by visitors and expats.

My first visit to Jordan May 2019 | Amman Travel Vlog | 约旦安曼自由行
I spent one week travelling in Jordan in May 2019. 3 days in Amman, 3 days in Petra (Wadi Musa), 1 day in Wadi Rum, and 1/2 day in Aqaba. The trip was very busy and I did not have time to take videos on every moment and destination. This is my first travel VLOG. I hope you enjoy watching it. Welcome your feedback too!

JORDAN DIARIES | Day 3-4 | Amman City | Jerash Historical City | Solo Traveller | हिन्दी
Amman, the capital of Jordan, is a modern city with numerous ancient ruins. Atop Jabal al-Qala’a hill, the historic Citadel includes the pillars of the Roman Temple of Hercules and the 8th-century Umayyad Palace complex, known for its grand dome. Built into a different downtown hillside, the Roman Theater is a 6,000-capacity, 2nd-century stone amphitheater offering occasional events.
Jerash is a city in Jordan, north of the capital Amman. Inhabited since the Bronze Age, it’s known for the ruins of the walled Greco-Roman settlement of Gerasa just outside the modern city. These include the 2nd-century Hadrian’s Arch, the Corinthian columns of the Temple of Artemis and the huge Forum’s oval colonnade. The Jerash Archaeological Museum displays artifacts excavated from the site.

Amman & The Dead Sea, Jordan with Travel Talk
Really enjoyed the Dead Sea. It was really amazing to be able to just float. Amman was beautiful, still a really busy city in Jordan
Here is an insight into what the tour is like when we visit Amman and the Dead Sea . Check out my YouTube channel to see the rest of the stops in Travel Talk’s Egypt by Felucca and Jordan tour.

FIRST TRAVEL VLOG!! Jordan (Amman, Petra, Wadi Rum)
JORDAN TRAVEL VLOG
We stayed in Jordan for 6 days and covered the following:
Amman
Madaba
Mount Nebo
Shawbak
Wadi Musa
Petra
Wadi Rum
As I plan all our itineraries and 95% of the time it's always DIY, for this trip, I really had a hard time creating our itinerary because not a lot of people visit Jordan, have documented their trips or that most people that go here join Holy Land tours. For a Filipino with a very weak passport, it will be difficult to move from one border to another DIY! So let me run down what happened during our trip to help those who wanna visit soon.

❤️Aubrey was a Speech-Language Pathologist, Donnie was graphic designer, but we both had a dream to travel the world and experience cultures. After three years of being married and dreaming about if something like this great adventure would be possible, we decided to quit the rat race and take on the world. We sold everything we had, quit our jobs, and took off! We don't know how long we will get to do this, and we do have a goal of getting jobs in the UK eventually, but we are going to live it to the fullest while we can!
JORDAN Travel Vlog | Jesus Was Baptized HERE (Jerash & Mt. Nebo)
We spent the last 2 days on a road trip through Jordan exploring some of the most fascinating historical sites this country is home to. We had no idea the amount of incredible sites we would see on this trip, including: the ancient city of Jarash (most well-preserved city outside of Italy), Jesus's baptism site on the Jordan river (where we were about 20 feet away from Israel), Mt. Nebo (where God showed Moses the Promised Land), and SO MUCH MORE. Of course lots of delicious Jordanian food was involved. We ended the day at the Dead Sea where we will float tomorrow. :)

Originally from Nashville, Tennessee, we got married June 2013 and quickly caught the travel bug! We started “travel hacking” & finally decided we wanted to travel for one year. After 2 years of saving $ and over 2 million miles and points, we sold our cars and apartment and left home January 10, 2016. We started this YouTube channel to share our experiences with friends and family, then decided we really liked vlogging and traveling! So we extended our 1 year trip to now FOUR years :) Now we have a goal of traveling to 100 countries before 2020! We are incredibly thankful to do something we love every day. :)
WORLD TRAVELLER 35 ~ Ending up in AMMAN, JORDAN
Travel vlog from my first ever solo travelling trip around the world (from many years ago, hence the 4:3 ratio, and the significantly substandard editing. Adds to the atmosphere in my view :D). If you get the opportunity to travel, or if you're in two minds, just do it! It's amazing!
Having just spent a tiring and exceptionally frustrating day and night in Mumbai airport, due to being unable to board a flight to Dubai, I end up in Amman, Jordan. Exploring the parliament, Raghadan Flagpole, the Amman Citadel and other areas of Amman. Then taking a Jett coach to Petra.
My itinerary included:
CANADA, Toronto, Montreal.
UNITED STATES of AMERICA, New York, San Francisco, Los Angeles.
PERU, Lima, Cusco, The Inca Trail, Machu Picchu.
JAPAN, Tokyo, Kyoto, Hiroshima, Itsukushima (Miyajima), Osaka.
THAILAND, Bangkok, Koh Samui, Ko Pha Ngan (Full Moon Party). INDIA, Mumbai, Agra, Jaipur, Dehli.
JORDAN, Amman, Petra.
EGYPT, Cairo and Luxor.
As Middle Eastern cities go, Amman is a relative youth, and though it lacks the storied history and thrilling architectural tapestry of other regional capitals, there’s plenty here to encourage you to linger awhile before making for Petra, the Dead Sea or Wadi Rum. In fact, Amman is one of the easiest cities in which to enjoy the Middle East experience.

4 days in Jordan
How can one spend a mere 4 days in one of the most historic epicentres of our world? Jordan contains a dizzying mix of culture and history, brought together in some of the warmest hospitality i've experienced anywhere in the middle east.
With two days in Petra, one in Wadi Rum and the other day spread across various castles (and a few very early morning hours in Amman), it's criminal to visit Jordan for anything less than a week. It's like walking through an armchair-traveller documentary - one sees, but there can be no understanding.
So this is a snapshot - think of it as a moving photograph which summarises my too brief visit to the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. I hope it's at the very least a launchpad to inspiration and wonder at what the world contains.
Enjoy, and please visit peterfranc.com to see a handful of select images from Jordan.
Jordan: First impression (alone at the airport!) | TURKEY to JORDAN
First impression of Amman, Jordan. I flew from Ankara, Turkey to Jordan. At the airport in Ankara, I was pretty much completely by myself at the airport… an amazing experience. Arriving in Jordan was also interesting, definitely more chaotic than Turkey. Watch for yourself to see how I survived the first hours.

ABOUT
Hey, I’m Flo. Follow me on my trip around the world as I explore different countries and cultures. Contrary to usual travel, I always try to get to know the locals in the country I am in instead of just doing the tourist route. This means using the same transport the locals use, eating food the locals eat and hanging out with locals to really understand their country and way of life.
