Truro's City of Lights procession marks the start of a sparkling Christmas season in Cornwall.
Artists, children and community groups from across Truro and beyond combining paper, withy and their imaginations to create stunning lanterns.
The event see Truro’s cobbled streets lit up by a magical parade of dazzling lanterns
Now in its 18th year the annual festivities attract around 25,000 people to see the creative collaboration of art, music, dance and light.

The BIG Art & Storytelling Tall Ships Project with Artist John Dyer
A promotional film for the The Big Art & Storytelling Tall Ships Project 2014. The official arts project for the Falmouth - Royal Greenwich Tall Ships Regatta 2014.
Filmed in Falmouth and London, pandamedia interviewed artist John Dyer and writers Paul Farmer, Maxwell Golden, Damian Dibben and James Graham about their involvement in the project.
The poem featured in the film is Sea Fever by John Masefield. The poem was read by reception class of Marlborough Primary School Falmouth and Joseph Tilley of Roseland Community College Tregony.
The music was composed and performed by Keziah Davies of Roseland Community College Tregony.
