Following the recent heavy rain and landslide crisis in the Himalayan mountains of Uttarakhand, where many roads got washed away and more than 70,000 people are stranded, a group of Rishikesh's travel agents and mountain expedition specialists couldn't sit idle and teamed up to provide help.
The 12 local companies*) from Rishikesh got together and organised ration/supplies (water, biscuits, bread, juice, rice, flour, tea, sugar, gas cylinders, tents, ropes, blankets, clothes, torches, medicine) and prepared 12 trucks to go into the mountain area.
More than 40 courageous and determined volunteers risked their lives in order to help neglected village people who had not received any help so far. Despite a badly destroyed and interrupted road network, worsening weather and looming landslides, they managed to deliver help where it was need -- in the region of Agastmuni and Gaurikund (Kedarnath).
Thank God, the Rishikesh Team has safely returned last night.

Can a Devotee Move from One Master to Another?
First of all, we have to know that the Master is One.
Many Masters are just many faces of One. Nevertheless, in spite of saying that, they will vary tremendously in expression. But, they are the same in essence. Each according to what is the flock they must engage with. The collective consciousness of those disciples somehow are pulled together because something here has to be worked though. And, if it is worked through, you might find that, at a certain point, spontaneously, unexpectedly even, there is a sense to move on, like something has dried up now. This will happen completely naturally, you are not deciding this.
One day, hopefully today, you will know that all things and their appearances are only That.
Then fear will go, sadness will go, suffering will go.
It has already started in fact, this awakening. It brought you here.
Trust it.
Also availble on
A video extract from the Retreat DVD “Awakening Has Already Started. It Brought You Here. Trust It ” Zmar Silent Retreat, Portugal, 24 September 2015, Session 2.

You Are Here to Win Yourself Back
You have to find something that is not coming and going. That which is aware of the change and is not identified with the change. That one. Find out this one. This one is free.
This is the power of an awakened being. Just their awareness is touching something inside you. They inspire your being to open up its wings inside you. And that is called awakening to presence.
You've always been presence but now you experience it consciously. This beautiful light and life is in you. Grace is always with you.

I Want to See the God in You — Moojibaba speaks about encountering negativity online
I Want to See the God in You
Moojibaba speaks about encountering negativity online
This profound talk is triggered by a question about encountering negativity online and in social media. Why does there seem to be so much negativity in the world? Should we engage with it or try to stay detached and uninvolved? How to respond when someone is attacking yourself or someone you love and respect?
Moojibaba addresses these questions and brings them into the larger looking of Satsang and self-inquiry. All things are the play of consciousness, and yet, sometimes you have to make a stand. How will you know?
“From the mind comes this invitation to get entangled, to become personal. When you’re personal, although you are consciousness, you are in your weakest state. You have to be guided by your own inner GPS—you may call it your conscience or your spiritual sensitivity… I like to remind people to become aware of themselves as consciousness, rather than person. Get accustomed to thinking as consciousness, because when you do, that personal venom loses its sting.
It is the belief in personhood which I feel is at the source and root of all sorrow in the world. It’s the thing that you must overcome to experience what we call liberation, spiritual awakening, self-realisation, salvation. The food of that liberation is served by the same chef to serve the different temperaments of every being. It’s the most exquisite thing imaginable.”

The Transcendental Meditation technique is a specific form of mantra meditation developed by Maharishi Mahesh Yogi. It is often referred to as Transcendental Meditation or simply, TM. The meditation practice involves the use of a mantra, and is practiced for 15--20 minutes twice per day, while sitting with closed eyes. It is reported to be one of the most widely practiced, and among the most widely researched, meditation techniques, with over 340 peer-reviewed studies published. Research reviews of the effects of the Transcendental Meditation technique have yielded results ranging from inconclusive to clinically significant. The technique is made available worldwide by certified TM teachers in a seven step course and fees vary from country to country. Beginning in 1965, the Transcendental Meditation technique has been incorporated into selected schools, universities, corporations and prison programs in the U.S.A., Latin America, Europe, and India. In 1977, a U.S. district court ruled that a curriculum in TM and the Science of Creative Intelligence that was being taught in some New Jersey, USA schools was religious in nature and in violation of the First Amendment. The technique has since been included in a number of educational and social programs around the world.
The Transcendental Meditation technique has been described as both religious and non religious. The technique has been described in various ways including as an aspect of a new religious movement, as rooted in Hinduism, and as a non-religious practice for self development. The public presentation of the TM technique over its 50-year history has been praised for its high visibility in the mass media and effective global propagation, and criticized for using celebrity and scientific endorsements as a marketing tool. Advanced courses supplement the TM technique and include an advanced meditation called the TM-Sidhi program. In 1970, the Science of Creative Intelligence (SCI) became the theoretical basis for the Transcendental Meditation technique, although skeptics questioned its scientific nature. According to proponents, when 1 percent of a population (such as a city or country) practices the TM technique daily, their practice influences the quality of life for that population. This has been termed the Maharishi Effect.
In the 1960s, seekers who had learned from the psychedelic experience began turning toward meditation. Beginning in 1959, the Maharishi began building an infrastructure using a mass marketing model for teaching the TM technique to Westerners. First, the Maharishi visited the U.S. because he felt that its people were ready to try something new, and the rest of the world would then take notice. By the same token, author Philip Goldberg says the Maharishi's insistence that TM was easy to do was not a marketing ploy, but rather a statement about the nature of the mind. In the mid 1960s, the TM organization began presenting its meditation to students via a campaign led by a man named Jerry Jarvis who had taken the TM course in 1961.

J. Krishnamurti - Ojai 1982 - Public Q&A 4
Summary:
Q1: One sees that chaos in the world is rapidly increasing. Billions are being spent on arms, social justice is being eroded, governments both totalitarian and democratic are increasingly aggressive and violent. Could the speaker comment on the issue of active political involvement?
Q2: You say that out of the negative comes the positive. How does one negate the 'I' without suppression or denial and without conflict? Who is it that does the negating?
Q3: How does one not become a victim while not becoming a predator?
Q4: What are humility and modesty?

The role of the foundations was described by Krishnamurti when he said, 'The foundations will see to it that these teachings are kept whole, are not distorted, are not made corrupt. They will not give rise to any sectarian spirit in their activities... nor create any kind of place of worship around the teachings or the person.'
We maintain extensive archives of Krishnamurti's original works and all four Krishnamurti foundations are actively engaged in the publication of material in various forms.

Enlightened Mystic Jiddu krishnamurti : Present Is the Whole of Time - Washington Rare Talks 1985
Excerpts From 1st Public Talk of J krishnamurti in Washington, DC, 1985
Mankind has lived on this earth perhaps for a million or 50,000 years. We have lived on this earth for many, many millennia. And during those periods of long time mankind has suffered pleasure, loneliness, despair, uncertainty, confusion, multiple choices, therefore multiple complexities; and there have been wars. Not only physical, bloody wars but also psychological wars. And mankind has asked if there can be peace on earth - pacem in terris - the Latin of peace on earth. And apparently this has not been possible. There are about 40 wars going on at the present time both ideological, theoretical, economic, social. And during the historical times, perhaps about 5,000 to 6,000 years, there have been wars practically every year. And also we are preparing for wars now. One ideology, that of the Communists, the tyrannical, the brutal world of Russia, and the democratic, so-called democratic world of the West. Two ideologies at war. What kind of implements we should use, control of armament and all the rest of it. War seems to be the common lot of mankind. And also one observes all over the world piling up of arm..aments; from the tiny little nation or tribe to the highly sophisticated, affluent society like yours. And how can we have peace on earth? Is that at all possible? ...
Jiddu Krishnamurti ends his talks with these words..
I don't know why you clap. (laughter) Perhaps you are clapping for yourself. (laughter and applause) You are not encouraging the speaker or discouraging him. He doesn't want a thing from you. When you yourself become both the teacher and the disciple - disciple being a man who is learning, learning, learning, not accumulating knowledge - then you are an extraordinary human being...
