Busuanga & Coron Island
At the close of 2014 we journeyed to the Philippines and arrived on Busuanga Island at New Years Eve. We were touring with Tribal Adventures - Julius took us cycling on New Years Day, then on January 2nd we set off on our kayaking expedition from northern Busuanga. We kayaked down the western side of the island, camping on Black Island and enjoying a brilliant sunrise. Next day we journeyed on to the town of Concepcion, via coral islands, mangrove channels and hot springs.
Meeting up with Greg and his team, we took the banca across to Coron Island and spent 3 nights beach camping. We explored caves, snorkelled, took siesta under limestone cliffs, met local people and visited lagoons enclosed in limestone cliffs.
At the end of our journey we stayed in Coron Town, climbing the stairs to the lookout for a magnificent sunset panorama. Thank you to the team at Tribal Adventures.

KISS a Giraffe - Calauit Safari Tour Coron
How to KISS a Giraffe - A bit of Africa in the Philippines Palawan! Our next adventure takes us to Calauit Safari Park which is a game reserve and wildlife sanctuary in Calauit Island, Palawan. The animals here came mostly from Africa shipped to the Philippines in 1977. This wildlife sanctuary was established in response to Kenya's then President's request during a third world conference to help save African wildlife from drought and war. We saw giraffes, zebras and the endemic Calamian deer roaming freely around the park. There were other animals in cages which according to our tour guide were kept on display for about a month and then released into the wild. Most of the animals that were confiscated in Palawan due to illegal poaching are also brought here for monitoring and eventually released into the wild. We saw some big river turtles kept in a pond here which were confiscated from poachers. After our tour, the park guide took us to the area for feeding the giraffes. These gentle tall creatures are not shy when it comes to getting their food. Watch the video and find out how to kiss a giraffe!????????

Travel to Linapacan Palawan 2020! El Nido - Linapacan - Coron
EXPLORING THE CLEAREST WATERS IN THE WORLD! ⛵️????????????
This is an amazing experience that we wanna share with you all. For 3 nights and 4 days, we got to explore uninhabited paradise islands and pristine white sand beaches of Linapacan and Coron with the amazing organizers, boat crew and guides of Isla Expeditions. Linapacan had been in our bucket list of places to explore in Palawan because it was ranked top in the clearest waters in the world. We signed up with Isla Expeditions, an exclusive serviced camping expedition from El Nido to Linapacan and Coron. They have a private campsite in beautiful Ginto Island in Linapacan. Unlike its neighboring famous spots like El Nido and Coron, Linapacan is less touristy, but equally if not more stunning. Here’s why we love this expedition:
1. THE BOAT ⛵️????♀️
The boat is not crowded! There are only a maximum of 10 guests per boat during an expedition so the boat is not jam-packed or full. During our trip, there were only 8 guests including us, all couples from different parts of the world. The boat also has its own kayak.
2. THE ISLANDS ???? ????????????
The islands we visited are breathtaking, exotic, remote and mostly uninhabited. During the day, we would be the only ones in the islands enjoying the beaches and this is what makes the experience very special. From El Nido, we sailed to Linapacan which has more than 50 islands and islets that are considered the jewels of Palawan. Its waters were ranked as one of the clearest in the world to swim in before you die. We enjoyed swimming and snorkelling in crystal clear waters rich with marine life and we saw some turtles too. If you want to be away from tourist crowds, then this is your island hopping paradise.
3. THE FOOD ????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????
The food is outstanding! This expedition comes with a personal chef. We always look forward to breakfast, lunch and dinner. The food is exceptionally delicious and always prepared fresh. The dishes are presented by the chef so everyone has an idea what the ingredients are especially those with special dietary needs. The meals are always pretty and varied- fish, chicken, meat, shrimps, squid, vegetables, pasta, soup, fresh fruits. This expedition is an incredible island hopping culinary experience in itself.
4. THE PRIVATE CAMPSITE ????????⛺️
The private campsite in Ginto Island is serene and has a rustic charm to it. We were the only ones in the campsite aside from the family of the caretaker. On our first day, one of the guides took us to the other side of the island to watch the sunset and it was marvelous. That same night, it was a full moon and it was absolutely stunning! We just felt grateful on how lucky we are to be in such an amazing place. The main cottage is made of native materials. There is a socials area with low tables and pillows on the floor where appetizers, snacks, fresh coconut juice or drinks are served. On the other side is the dining area. Having dinner at the camp was always lovely. The table is completely set-up like a fine-dining restaurant (table cloth, place mats, cutlery) surrounded with torches and of course the spectacular dishes are paraded from the kitchen and well presented. Do not expect wifi here, this is remote paradise! The generator is on a few hours at night for some music and dancing and to charge our gadgets. There is a toilet room and a shower room with running water and are always kept clean. Another unique experience in this expedition are their transparent sleeping pods with mattress. We were comfortable and we got to sleep under beautiful night skies. We were not bothered by insects or mosquitoes. You also have the option to sleep in the cottage. Other things to do in the campsite are snorkeling, playing volleyball, kayaking or just chilling in the hammocks or day beds.
5. THE AMAZING CREW ????♀️????????♂️????????????
The people of Isla Expeditions are genuinely caring, accommodating and hospitable. The trip was well-organized. They will even pick you up in a van from your hotel in El Nido. They go out of their way to make the expedition enjoyable and fun. They took us to the best snorkelling spots and cliff jumping spots. They are seasoned local guides and boat crew who are well-experienced and knowledgeable about the areas we went. They take care of everything, all we had to do was have fun and enjoy the trip. And of course, they have an amazing chef!
6. SAFETY & SECURITY
We felt safe and secure in this expedition. In one of the short stops to replenish supplies in a fishing village, locals were warm, friendly and welcoming. You should be prepared to rough it and be offline for a few days but Isla Expeditions make the experience more luxurious and comfortable. And most importantly, leave nothing but footprints and take nothing but memories!

???? After a hearty breakfast in Banana Island where we slept the previous night, we went to post card perfect Malcapuya Island which has powdery white sand beach and clear blue waters. We had a great morning swim! Next, we explored Krish's island home, Culion. We visited a very old church built with corals during the 17th century Spanish era and saw some very old canons and other historical buildings too. The locals here were all smiling and warm. After a delicious lunch in the boat, we swam the clear blue waters to see a ship wreck and the most beautiful Coral Garden in Coron. Red Carabao- Best Tour in Palawan? || Travel Continuously Summit || Coron, Philippines Vlog #2
Welcome to my channel Moore to Explore!
This incredible day of the Travel Continuously Summit was hosted by Red Carabao Philippines and SUP Central Tours. They offer an alternative to the normal Tour A, B and C offered in Coron.
We were treated to a visit to an island only recently opened to tourists, agreed with the local tribe, called Isla Cueva. We endured a killer hike to a hidden cave and then stand up paddled a few beaches along to Camp Carabao.
Here we relaxed and met the local tribespeople who welcomed us with some traditional dancing. We also had some delicious dessert and coffee provided by Belle at Le Voyage Coron restaurant!

Coron - (adventure, travel, 2017)
Coron Island is a wedge-shaped limestone island in the province of Palawan. It has seven lakes, famous of which is the nationally-acclaimed cleanest lake in the Philippines, the Kayangan Lake. It also has a number of islands with white beaches and clear blue waters perfect for snorkeling, deepsea fishing and shipwreck diving. Some coastal areas are covered with mangrove forests.
Coron is the largest town on the island. The municipality covers part of Busuanga Island and all of the nearby Coron Island. Both islands are part of the Calamian Group of Islands in northern Palawan.
The area is famous for its World War II wreck diving, and the site has been named in many lists of top dive spots in the world. In September 1944, a fleet of Japanese ships hiding in the harbor were sunk in a daring raid by the US navy. The result is around ten well preserved underwater shipwrecks surrounded with coral reef.
There are also attractions on Coron Island itself. There are many beautiful bleach white sand beaches, mostly tiny and surrounded by large limestone cliffs and wildlife. Barracuda and Kayangan lakes are both stunning locations, and good for snorkeling, and the island is the ancestral domain of an indigenous tribe who are managing the island in a sustainable way and keeping outsiders at a distance and offshore at night.

Me and my friends travelled in this beautiful island of our country and had enjoyed so much of what it can offer. We're not able to visit all of its islands and spots because we only had 4 days and 3 nights to spend. although we only have short time of stay, we were able to manage our time to enjoy the activities we had. The local people we're very accommodating specially to our tour guides during our island hopping and visits. They we're very informative and they will teach the Do's and Dont's during such activity. The transient house we used to stay with was cheap yet very comfortable, safe and near to the restaurants and other establishments. The foods available in Coron were very delicious and healthy. Prices may vary with what you want to eat but most of the time, foods they offer were affordable.
For me, I will definitely go back here soon and as for my friends, I think they will too. (hehe). 7 to 10 days stay in Coron is I think, is sufficient to be able to hop on different islands and visit its beautiful spots.
Shoutout to my traveller friends: (chos. hehe)

Speedboat Tour El Nido A B C D Palawan 2020
Exclusive Speedboat Tour! El Nido, Palawan, Philippines
Early this year, we joined Isla Expeditions for an exclusive expedition from El Nido To Coron and we had an amazing experience. This time, we will explore the beautiful islands of Bacuit Bay, El Nido in an exclusive speedboat tour with them. Sure enough, Isla Expeditions did not disappoint. We went to Big Lagoon early and with shorter travel time compared to a motorized banca. We had the lagoon to ourselves before other tourists started to arrive. Most of the islands we went were empty of tourist crowds and if there were, we had the flexibility to decide among our small fantastic group to just skip that place and go somewhere else more relaxing. Special shout out to our Italian friends, Selene and Anna who took the lead to choreograph our dance steps and always took Instagrammable photos for everyone! Despite the strong rain late noon, everyone's cheerful spirits made this day amazing! Watch the full video and see the amazing islands we explored with Isla Expedition's speedboat tour!

Where to Stay in Coron Town Palawan
Where to stay & Where to eat in Coron! We Are in Coron Palawan Philippines! Our first day in Coron, we stayed at Asia Grand View Hotel just a few minutes away from town. They have a magnificent view of the bay and mangrove forests. For lunch, we ate fresh seafood and Filipino dishes in the newly launched restaurant, Balay Karaenan. Then, we took an electric tricycle to go to Maquinit Hotsprings arranged by Twin Travel and Tours. It was the perfect place to relax but we had a bit of problem with our drone so we had to update the app at a coffee shop in Coron Town. The problem was fixed and we went back to our hotel for a romantic dinner which was perfect to end our first day in Coron.
