tribble mill
Tribble Mill operated from the 1830's until the 1950's on a river in the park. The county inundated the site when it built Ozora Lake and Chandler Lake, both fully contained within the park.. The Grayson area is in the first part of Gwinnett that was settled by farmers from the east. It was originally incorporated into the state of Georgia in 1784 as part of Franklin County, and then ceded when Gwinnett County was formed in 1818. Grayson was founded in 1881 under the name Berkeley, which they changed to Grayson in 1902 because two Georgia towns shared the earlier name.

A casual bike ride at Tribble Mill park
Went for an after work ride at Tribble Mill park on 4/8/16 with the intent of filming, not so much riding a lot. On this ride I chose my Foundry Tomahawk carbon 27.5 hardtail.

I treasure my time walking alone anywhere that I find beauty in the world. One of my favorite places to walk is the wooded trails close to where I live. I find great peace in these wood so I decided to video my path so I could walk my woods while on a treadmill when touring.

Tribble Mill park's fishing lakes, little known gem
I saw more deer than I have in years. Easily spotted at all hours of day. Caught a fish within the hour of arrival. Clean restrooms, running water and power, clean areas, EXCELLENT fishing lakes. If I have to grade this park, it gets very close to an A+. We'll call it an A for now. There are no ATV'S allowed on the trails but that does not include little electric scooters and stuff, which i saw a man puttering around on. Great idea with the pavilions and fishing spots, boating IS allowed with electric engines. Bluegill, panfish, big bass and chub are all over it. They say catfish is here too.
This is close to Lawrenceville at the edge of Gwinnett county.

Freeman Mill Park - Georgia
Another Gwinnett County park theme. Freeman Mill Park features a turn of the century gristmill. The park offer a great play area for children, walking trails that are pet friendly, and plenty of relaxing locations to enjoy nature.
