You might not know who Arjan Roskam is, but you've probably smoked his weed. Arjan's been breeding some of the most famous marijuana strains in the world—like White Widow, Super Silver Haze, and many others—for over 20 years.

In 1992 he opened his first coffee shop in Amsterdam and has since crafted his marijuana-breeding skills into a market-savvy empire known as Green House Seed Company, which rakes in millions of dollars a year.

He's won 38 Cannabis Cups and has dubbed himself the King of Cannabis.

VICE joins Arjan and his crew of strain hunters in Colombia to look for three of the country's rarest types of weed, strains that have remained genetically pure for decades. In grower's terms, these are called landraces. We trudge up mountains and crisscross military checkpoints in the country's still-violent south, and then head north to the breathtaking Caribbean coast. As the dominoes of criminalization fall throughout the world, Arjan is positioned to be at the forefront of the legitimate international seed trade.

GoPro: O dia que eu perdi minha GoPro / The day I lost my GoPro

Era domingo. Neste dia fizemos um treino de bike no Horarios e depois fomos para a Tribo do Remo pra treinar remo para o Ultra Macho. Apesar de ter vários galhos baixos nunca imaginei que pudesse ficar preso e que a GoPro fosse cair no rio.

Quando ela prendeu no galho e puxou minha cabeça só deu tempo de gritar NÃOOO. Fizemos uma busca rápida no desespero mas o tinha chovido um dia antes e a água estava suja. Fiquei muito triste e já saímos de lá combinado de voltar na quarta na esperança do rio estar mais limpo.

Reunimos 5 pessoas para a Expedição Caçada a GoPro Perdida e subimos o Rio Claro tentando achar o local que era havia caído. Depois de andar muito procurando achamos! Fiquei alegre demais da contaaaaa!

Depois que achamos o local foi questão de menos de 1 minuto para acha-la. Estava lá no fundo numa área calma e com areia.

It was Sunday . On this day we did a bike workout on Schedule and then went to the tribe Remo to train for rowing Ultra Male. Despite several low branches never imagined it could get stuck and that GoPro would fall into the river .

When she held the branch and pulled my head only had time to scream Nooo . We did a quick search in despair but it had rained the day before and the water was dirty . I was very sad and have left there combined again on Wednesday in the hope of being cleaner river .

5 people gathered for the Expedition Hunt GoPro Lost and went up the Rio Claro trying to find the place it was had fallen . After much searching we walk ! I was too happy the contaaaaa !

Once we found the place was a matter of less than 1 minute to find it . I was deep in a quiet area and sand.

Uncontacted peoples

Uncontacted peoples, also referred to as isolated peoples or lost tribes, are communities who live, or have lived, either by choice (peoples living in voluntary isolation) or by circumstance, without significant contact with globalized civilization. Few peoples have remained totally uncontacted by global civilization. Indigenous rights activists call for such groups to be left alone, stating that it will interfere with their right to self-determination. Most uncontacted communities are located in densely forested areas in South America, New Guinea and India. Knowledge of the existence of these groups comes mostly from infrequent and sometimes violent encounters with neighboring tribes, and from aerial footage. Isolated tribes may lack immunity to common diseases, which can kill a large percentage of their people after contact.
