Trikut Pahar (Trikut Hills, is situated 10 km away from Deoghar on the way to Dumka in Jharkhand state, India. There are three main peaks on the hill (the tri- of Trikutachal). There is also a temple of Shiva at this place known as Trikutachal Mahadeva Temple.The height of this hill is 2470 feet. A rope way is most famous here it can be used to reach the top of the hill. The hill is covered by clouds in rainy seasons and waterfalls and small streams can be seen from July–September. The view from top of mountain is stunning and solar panels situated in Topovan(First solar energy hub in Jharkhand). Trikuth has many tourist all year round.

देवघर भारत के झारखंड राज्य का एक शहर है। इस शहर को बाबाधाम नाम से भी जाना जाता है क्योंकि शिव पुराण में देवघर को बारह जोतिर्लिंगों में से एक माना गया है।देवघर से 16 किलोमीटर दूर दुमका रोड पर एक खूबसूरत पर्वत त्रिकूट स्थित है। इस पहाड़ पर बहुत सारी गुफाएं और झरनें हैं। बैद्यनाथ से बासुकीनाथ मंदिर की ओर जाने वाले श्रद्धालु मंदिरों से सजे इस पर्वत पर रुकना पसंद करते हैं।

Trikut Pahar is one of the most exciting tourist destination in Deoghar, where you can enjoy Trekking, Ropeway, Wildlife Adventures and a safe natural retreat. It is also a popular picnic spot and a place for Pilgrimage. In dense forest on the uphill lies the famous Trikutachal Mahadeva Temple and the hermitage of Sage Dayananda. Trikut Hills contain three peaks and the Highest Peak goes to the height of 2470 ft from the Sea Level and around about 1500 ft from the ground making it an ideal location for trekking. Only two of the three peaks are considered safe for trekking while the third one is inaccessible due to its highly steep slopes. The Ropeway takes the Tourists to the top of main peak only. An exciting 360 degree view of Deoghar is available from the Top of Trikut Pahar.

Trikut Pahar is one of the most exciting tourist destination in Deoghar, where you can enjoy Trekking, Ropeway, Wildlife Adventures and a safe natural retreat. Tapovan | Tapovan Hills | Deoghar | Tapovan - Where Religion Meets Adventure | Adventurous Journey

Tapovan is another holy site located at a distance of around 10 km from Babadham(Deoghar). It is mainly famous for Tapo Nath Mahadev, the temple of Lord Shiva. this place has a temple of Shiva called Taponath Mahadeva and a number of caves are also present there. In one of the caves, there is a Shiva lingam installed and it is said that Sage Valmiki who wrote Ramayana, came here for penance.

Sri Sri Mohanananda Brahmachari, one of the disciples of Sri Sri Balananda Brahmachari, also came at the site for penance.It is named Tapovan because in the olden days it was a meditation spot for the Nagas.

The real attraction of this place is to take the tougher route and face the rocky way down. There are steps to reach the hill top. I loved the place more for the adventurous descent down the rocky hill.
